Does anyone know the thickness of the outer edge of the disc? Need to get in a narrow gap hence important . Thanks

It's approx 6mm thickness. For getting into narrow gaps I'd suggest using a wooden popsicle stick with 40 or 80 grit sand paper glued onto it.
