AC Infinity, Fan Speed Controller for 100-125V AC Axial Muffin Cooling Fans.

Purchased a fan to install in a piece of furniture that we are using as a tv stand / stereo component cabinet. Needed the fan for heat buildup, but the fan is not tiny and was running full steam and quickly realized I should have purchased the controller when I got the fan. Controller arrived quickly, took less than a min to install and so far has been keeping the fan at a low rotation and it is therefore much quieter (can't hear the fan at all unless you get very close). Very happy with the purchase and have had no issues with variance in speeds as others have mentioned...mine has been holding steady for months now.

I searched a good deal for a fan I could use at 18V or more, had trouble finding something to suit my parameters. Then I stumbled across the AC Infinity fan with the control box... VOILA! Problem solved! My power supply was having issues running my project AND my fan, this completely solved the issue by having the fan run on AC power from the wall, with a control box to regulate fan speed and thereby control my projects thermal issue and also keep it on the down low noise wise. I have to say, the robust aluminum construction is welcome, and the noise level, well, What Noise? It's so much quieter than the name brand computer fan I had tried that I'm "blown" away! :) Great work! Excellent fan, exactly what I needed. Thank You!

I bought this unit with an infinity fan as well so I mount controller an extended distance from the fan and be able to turn it on/off without having to plug in and out of a socket. I could have spliced the wires to an extension cord with the switch or button but that seemed a little to ghetto for me when this was available. The controller plugs direct into the fan easily and your ready to go. It's also variable speed Low Med and High although the difference between them is very little. Overall it works for what I want it to do so I'm happy.

I purchased this controller to go with an 8" AC Infinity fan. As others have mentioned. the controller didn't really control the speed of the fan. I contacted their customer support and they immediately sent me a replacement. That one didn't work either and they offered to send me a replacement fan to try which I politely declined since I ended up finding a plug in dimmer at a big box store that worked. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again. Their customer service was absolutely awesome and could not have done a better job trying to resolve the problem. I definitely recommend using them.

It looks good, excellent quality, will buy gain. I almost forgot what premium quality feels like. I got the 110 volt fan to go with it. I got the higher speed fan, it isn't quiet but puts out a lot of air, this keeps the noise down and tones everything to manageable degree. Not sure if this on a high speed fan is as quiet as the quiet model fan by the same company but is isn't bad at all. I can easily sleep with it on low. Switch is worth while.

I got the fan for the aquarium's autofeeder to keep humidity from forming under it, built a whole rig, plugged the fan in, and it was louder than 4 air pumps, 5 airstones, and TWO Aquaclear 70 filters combined. Like I turned it off immediately because if I couldn't stand it for 5 seconds I'm not going to subject the fish to it. Seriously I've heard quieter leafblowers. To be fair the airflow was probably about on par too though. Waited until this thing came, and being able to control the fan speed makes all the difference in the world. Now it can perform it's function without roaring like a hurricane. Don't buy the fan without this.

bought this with one of their very small fans, axial 8025. the control cord seems to let the fan go a little faster at the upper end. have used the combination twice. fan on my fireplace insert went out, ordered another from stove company, but this little fan did a fine job under the firebox. heat didn't affect it. could probably have wired it in, came with directions, but cautious about 'blaze king' stove design and my (limited) mechanical skills.. original stove came with a fan and wall speed controller. also used it when small fan on refrigerator-freezer went out. ran it over coils until new unit (warranty) could be ordered and installed on sears model. currently resides in a box in my desk, awaiting future chores. cannot remember how many hours it was rated for, but remember thinking that it could run 24/7 for several years.

Used this to control the fan in my AV equipment It is from the same manufacturer so it eliminate the need for extra wits. It plugs directly into the fan base.

Short story: In this video you can hear it on the lowest level with the door open. When I put it on the highest level and close the door. You can definitely hear it. It works great so far. Long story: I bought the AC Infinity AXIAL fan not realizing it didnt have a speed controller. So I bought the controller separately instead. I’m pretty sure you can find the fan and controller together for a reasonable price. I just didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning the fan and then buying the two things together. Anyway, I kept it on the lowest level all night. The cabinet door was closed - I barely heard it. I’m a light sleeper so I need this to be as quiet as possible if it is on overnight. Works great! I created my own FABRIKOR greenhouse cabinet this summer for my tropical plants that need moderate to high levels of humidity. I had everything I needed except for a fan for ventilation. So, I bought portable fans thinking those would do the trick. I was wrong. The two that I bought lowered the temperature and humidity levels. I decided leave it a without a ventilation fan. However, after 6-7 months the cabinet started to smell a little musty. I needed something quiet and small. Something that wouldn’t change the temperature or humidity inside the cabinet. Not sure if it’s a coincidence but it somehow increased the humidity. The mounting piece is not included. I bought it on Etsy - CADJungle.

The unit arrived in record time and operates as expected. It was a bonus that this one had can control two muffin fans. Just what i needed to keep the air moving at the flow i control

This unit will allow speed control over AC Infinity AC powered fans, but the tradeoff is that at lower speeds, when you might hope for much quieter fan noise, there is some audible whine present because of how the fan speed is reduced. Bottom line is you can control the speed and the fan I'm using is quieter at lower settings, but it's nowhere near as quiet as the AC Infinity USB powered fans. That said, for my application, I frequently need the fan at full speed and appreciate the ability to control speed when desired.
