An absolute rollercoaster of a read! How this man survived so many scrapes is astonishing….wouldn’t want to cross him but would like to buy another book of his in the future. Great story telling, sad, tense and in some parts hilarious. 10/10

A great description and understanding of how easy it could be to be lured into a life of crime. Also the lengths the police would go to and stitch people up. I'd be more inclined to believe one of the Salford lads than any greater Manchester policeman. Great great read. Thank you "one punch" Mr Doyle.

Couldn't put it down. Shame it was such an abrupt ending. Felt like it needed a bit more.

I have read about Paul Doyle in several books and have always been a bit fascinated in the type of person who can gain a reputation like his in the kind of environment he gained that reputation. It takes something unusual.I have expected the book to be OK and hoped for the odd nugget of storytelling about his past , but this far surpassed it.Funny, violent, insightful and riveting. Much Better than I thought it would be.

Great read and couldn't put it down

If you are into real like interesting stories, and true crime, I'd recommend this book. Paul is a loveable rogue, who is probably very loyal to family and friends, and hell on earth to others. I'd say the guy is a decent bloke, who was moulded into what he became, by a brutal upbringing.

If you don't like geography don't read maps
