My household uses this for constipation. We have tried several different things. This one seems to work well and is reasonably priced. Magnesium citrate generally causes loose stool that is why it is used for constipation and if you ever have to get a colonoscopy, they make you drink magnesium citrate to clean out your pipes. Members of my household take 2 capsules at night before bed. It typically generates a bowl movement by morning. If it does not, we add in some probiotics, dried apricots or prunes to help get things going. According to Double woods website, their products goes through rigorous testing but you have to request the testing. There is a "test" picture shown in the ad pictures but I would like to see supplement companies put their full tests for public view without having to request them. If you are really confident in your products, then why not show the full testing reports?If you need magnesium for something other than constipation, you are better off using a different type of magnesium that can be better utilized by your body. We do also take a tri magnesium supplement daily too.
