The ssd was used when building a gaming pc (motherboard) as seen in image. I did some testings to it once it was installed and I was very impressed as it was very fast and it responded rapidly up to 3500 mb/s. It also has encrypted hardware which is very good and a lot of storage where I used to download many games. However one disadvantage is the ssd can increase in temperature when device is running so what I recommend is by adding a fan near the ssd to keep it cool ( which is what I have done). It is also very easy to install and very good for the price. I would recommend if your on a budget

I've been running the same system and same storage since 2018, a standard HDD and SSD boot drive combo. Over the last year I've noticed a significant drop in performance with applications and games. I attributed this to my hard drive where those programs were stored due to it's slow read and write speeds when i monitored them. I finally chose to purchase a new larger SSD to store games and applications and decided on this SSD as it was well reviewed, well priced and boasted some good specs. The installation was easy, apart from my own hiccup. When installing, make sure other storage drives are plugged into sata ports that won't be disabled when inserting a new SSD. Checking your motherboard's manual will let you know which sata ports will be unusable. Once that issue was sorted, I checked the BIOS, confirmed the SSD was recognised. Launched the PC, found the drive and partitioned it. It was ready to go. Since moving some video games like fortnite and valorant, I've noticed much faster loading times, reduced lag and no crashes. If you're having similar issues with performance, I highly recommend picking up one of these.

I had my doubts: it was too cheap. When it arrived the sticker on it indicated that it was a returned item, and I started to worry! However, it works nicely, has full capacity and a good speed. Of course, one has to partition and format the SSD before use, and I assume that it was returned because the original buyer didn't do this, fitted it and found that it didn't appear at once in the file manager. Their loss - my gain. It's a pity that Crucial are withdrawing from consumer sales, as it's a sound item.

great performance and affordable NVME. it does not need any form of cooling plate so I was able to install it on the back of my motherboard. after observing for a few days during gaming and normal workload it does not seem to really heat up

El arranque del sistema es casi instantáneo y los programas cargan mucho más rápido en comparación con un disco SATA o incluso con NVMe antiguos. Las velocidades anunciadas de hasta 5.000 MB/s se notan especialmente al mover archivos grandes o al instalar juegos pesados. Para uso diario, gaming y trabajo en general, va sobrado. La instalación es sencilla (formato M.2), y no he tenido problemas de compatibilidad. En cuanto a temperaturas, se mantiene bastante estable en uso normal, aunque en tareas muy intensivas puede calentarse un poco, como es habitual en este tipo de SSD sin disipador incluido. Como punto a tener en cuenta, no es el modelo más “pro” del mercado en cuanto a resistencia o rendimiento sostenido extremo, pero para la mayoría de usuarios ofrece un equilibrio excelente entre precio y velocidad.
