I thought I was going to install this nesting box "real quick". Haha. As soon as I lifted it, the screws fell into the box, so I had to start over. Putting the wing nut on, while holding the box up, while trying to keep the screws from falling back into the box was impossible. Finally I asked my husband for help. I held the box, he put the wing nuts on, but it required me to hold each screw in place with a kabob skewer while he held the other side of the screws with pliers while turning the wing nuts- because otherwise the screws just spin with the wing nuts. If I was going to do it again, I would secure the screws to the box first, maybe with a dab of hot glue. 4 stars because that design wasn't thought through very well. Otherwise it's a sturdy little nest box for my parakeet, who laid 9 eggs (8 in a tiny nest and one in the food dish!). Momma and the eggs were transferred to the nesting box and she seems to be content there. I love the window, so I can see what is going on.

The media could not be loaded.  The hold for the perch is not big enough and I have to put a new hole in it to hang it on my cage. Other than that I do like it I give it a 3.5 out of 5

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this bird box and it said it was an extra large, it even showed that 2 cockatiels could fit in it, but when I received it, 1 of my cockatiels barely could sit comfortably. What should I do in this case, please respond!

Hi, I love the glass it is so cool, and it is well made.But it is made for small birdies so make sure you order for LoveBirds or Parakees a large one.Other then that I will be buying more.. great products.
