Absolutely love these Magic Mats from Craftelier. They prevent the dies from going blunt, they make intricate dies cut easier, and they are relatively inexpensive. I’ve used both the ordinary self-healing Magic Mat (Aqua Green) and the magnetic version (this pink one) and they are both brilliant. Personally I prefer the magnetic version as it makes cutting smaller pieces on scraps of paper that much easier - they are less likely to shift about when adding the top plate or loading it into the machine. Over time they will warp and bend, but you definitely get your money’s worth out of them before they need replacing. I also have the silicone embossing Magic Mat which makes a massive difference to the quality in texture from my embossing folders. The fact that I can buy these mats individually from Amazon instead of the faff of buying from Craftelier and waiting for it to be delivered from abroad is great!

.... and I managed to warp this mat quite quickly (heavy usage) .... it was really bowed! When my Gemini plates get like that (and they do, too quickly) it's time to bin them - but I took a heat tool to this new mat and a few minutes later the mat is completely flat again! Yay! Will buy another for my manual machine!

After the 1st usage it bowed & the cut marks from the die stayed. It's easy to use place the paper/card on mat then the die then the plate so the cutting side goes into mat. For what it is the price is a bit high. Already the mat is coming apart and buckling all over. Using a heat gun on it didn't fix it. I personally wouldn't get another one.

I was sceptical at first but it does work. I used it in my big shot as the base plate and the cardstock cut fine. Thinlits and other thin metal dies stick to it really well. I am thinking of getting another one to act as a top plate so I don't need to buy Sizzix ones. I used it with sizzix bigz and originals dies and they left a deep impression on the mat, so probably better to use with thin metal dies, however it doesn't make any difference to the useage l. Recommend.

Just received and magnet is strong. I am sure cutting in this mat might warp so will use another plate or mat as cutting mat. 4 stars as I didn't use mat yet. Will make it 5 after use.

These are small but are good for my baby blue embossing and die cutting machine

It’s great but a bit big for cuttlebug but trimmed a bit off it’s great, I’m really pleased with it

Great at first, but after a bit of use has warped really badly and the layers are de-laminating. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Sympa pour que la matrice tienne bien en place grâce à son pouvoir magnétique. Je trouve toutefois que ce tapis se dégrade vite avec les "coupures" laissées par les matrices de découpe.

Comodissimo tappettino magnetico per tenere ferme le fustelle mentre passano attraverso il rullo della big shot. Soprattutto per i pezzetti piccoli. Utile.
