No sharp edges and perfectly smooth. Like the variety of the scoop tips. Easy to clean, sterilize. Love the rose gold color as well. I was using the disposable plastic swabs with the scoop tip on the other end but stopped after the lastest scratched my ears. And cotton buds just shoved everything back into ear and sometimes left cotton inside ear, so these cleaning tools modeled after professional tools was a great purchase. I love how it includes a brush which comes in handy for cleaning the metal swab end.

I will still need to get the one with a camera because I still am not able to remove the earwax blocking the hearing. My left ear cleared itself while flying. Next though, before the camera version, I am going to get a capful of warm water and put two or three drops of natural turpentine which is an old remedy for many ailments as it can dissolve many toxins that food cannot. I've tried just wetting the Q tip but maybe it will work better with the turpentine. I tried with pure turpentine but that burns. Do not be afraid to breath it or get it on your hands because the daily dose is up to a few drops. I am so thankful for Dr. Patricia Daniels for this remedy. Of course you know WHO deemed her a terrist so she now lives outside the USA as opposed to being encarcd. Fixable ! Overall the tools are very good quality material. I'll use them for other things too since I'm a handyman. Eventually my right ear will clear itself.
