At first unboxing, it was packed very well It came with all the spare parts you would expect and need Assembly was easy enough. Just putting the bumpers on. Although if you have large or unsteady hands you might have a little trouble (the screws are extremely small) Once I got it going the first flight I terrorized my cats. The second flight was outside and honestly the range on this drone is better than I’ve ever seen I have had a couple of drones in the past and controlling them was never easy for me but this drone is by far the easiest I’ve had. The controls are not quite as tight as others (which is great especially for beginners). Your not going to take someone’s head off at the slightest touch. The camera works far better than expected. The picture is great (nice and clear) The construction quality is very good I’ve crashed it a few times and not a scratch it seems to be built with beginners in mind but nice enough for experts to really enjoy too The phone holder is extremely stable and was big enough to easily accommodate my I phone x. I don’t see any size phone having a problem. Overall I’m extremely pleased with this drone and I highly recommend it

The drone is very light but sturdy and is good for anyone who wants to give drone flying a try. It is very easy to assemble and a screwdriver is included in the box. You just need a set of 4 AA batteries for the remote control. Propeller guards are provided to protect the propellers from crashes. A set of 4 replacement propellers is also provided. The remote control comes with a detachable phone mount and a companion Android/iOS app that can be used to hold your phone and view the video from the HD camera in the front. Initially it was hard to control and I crashed it few times before I got a hang of it and could fly it well. Even though it looks flimsy, it is actually quite sturdy and there was no damage from the crashes. If you are flying from a grass field, I'd recommend placing it on a raised surface so that the propellers are free to turn. I did not try the view from the HD camera as the Android app is not from the Google play store (but the iOS app is on iTunes) and has to be installed from an apk.

I love this Drocon Drone. I am a STEM professor, so I am a techhy for life. I was dying for a drone. I was elated to receive this last evening. Being techhy I thought I would be flying it out of the box. Being a teacher I chose to take the time and absorb the instructions and FFC regulations. I am a stickler for compliance and I live in a retirement community so it is essential to compliant, so I did not rush. I read all the instructions and this drone comes with a lot of great features and spare parts, you can reasonably order batteries and extra propellers. I read some reviews about mishaps so I decided to go out to a good clear open space even though I live on a golf course. I am still learning to become a dronexpert. I think I am hooked though. What I most like about Drocon Drone is the Wifi capability that lets you attach you smartphone and view aerial action in real time. If you are a newbie like myself I highly recommend this Drocon Drone. Its not too complicated but planning, charging, configuring are all good ideas for your long term pleasure. The instructions are great, the support is outstanding and the company offers lots of incentives in the box. I am trying to give you everything I have because I read reviews avidly before I buy. I could not be more pleased.

The first drone I bought was a toy drone from a different vendor. The remote control sticks broke twice before I gave up and ordered a Drocon Bugs 3. The Bugs 3 is a fantastic second drone but I have to fly it in a large open field because it’s so fast. I wanted a drone I could fly in my backyard. That’s when I discovered the Drocon Cyclone. While it’s technically a toy drone, if you learn to fly this drone you will be able to fly any drone. It is very agile and fast enough for my backyard. The radio control is the same unit as the Bugs 3 and the sticks work exactly the same. The big difference in these drones is the left stick, or throttle which makes the drone move it up and down. The throttle does not self-center as it does on many toy drones. This is how the throttle will operate on hobby grade remotes. If one learns to fly with this type of remote first, moving up to better remotes will be a snap. Also the Drocon customer service is amazing. I accidently lost my Cyclone when I went too high in by backward. Once above above the trees, a gust of strong wind blew it away (that’s why it is not in my picture). Even though it was my mistake, Drocon offered to replace my Cyclone under the warranty. In summary, Drocon Cyclone - great first drone or additional drone, Drocon Bugs 3 – fantastic second drone or first drone with brushless motors, Drocon – excellent customer service and products.

The battery doesn't last very long, and it doesn't fly very well. I flew it with a small wind, and it didn't do great. But I don't expect much more from a $50 drone. I do like the design, and that it has guards for the propellers. You definitely want to get at least one more battery unless you only want to fly it for a couple of minutes at a time.

This is an affordable beginner drone. I have been waiting to play with a drone for awhile but the price tag is a huge turn off. There are drone ranging in the hundreds so this one is much more my price range. I had a lot of fun flying this drone with my niece. The drone came in well packaged box with an USB cable to charge the drone. It also had spare propellers in case the ones on the drone breaks or get lost. Unfortunately no batteries were included for the remote so you would have to provide them yourself. We had trouble getting the drone to fly stable but after a few tries, we started to get the hang of it. We were able to do cool tricks like flipping the drone and flying sideways. The charge time for the drone was approximately 30-40 minutes and I was able to get around 5-10 minutes of flying time. Flying time could be better but it was still a lot of fun. I was surprised how fast this drone can travel through the air. We accidentally flew it into a tree and surprisingly it was still alive when we went to retrieve it. There is an one click button that allows the drone to travel back to you if you lose it. I have not tried out that feature but it is nice to have around. Overall this drone makes a great toy and we had a blast playing with it. The drone lights up so you also fly it at night which looks really cool.

My son wanted this drone and saved up all of his allowances to buy it. When he finally had enough money he was happy. We had no problems with the shipping and it only took two days. When he opened it and put it together it wasn't even charged, so we plugged it in overnight. He woke up the next morning and played with it but one side wouldnt even come up off the ground! it was not dropped either. After 10 minutes the battery died and he plugged it in this time for 24 hours because my initial thought was that maybe it needed a bit more time to get fully charged. Nope, it still died in 10 minutes and couldn't even get off the ground. Dont waste your money on this. Returning it now.

This drone is very easy to fly indoors. I have this and a Bugs 3. This one is much more easier to fly indoors, less sensitive and smaller. This one is definitely more in the toy range but can be used for other things because of the camera. The blades of both of the MJX drones I have are really bad. Especially this drone, the 708W, I had 3 "B" blades snap in one night but I did fly this indoor because it was night time but I never had anything like that happen to a drone before. The blade material from the Syma X5 are much more durable. In fact, after those blades snapped, I took the blades off the Syma X5 and used them. I am now using those blades without really any issues. Those who are more experienced may notice the difference in performance in those blades, but even then those blades are far more superior for this drone. I have been flying indoors with the Syma X5 blades on the 708W (this drone) and it's much better. Bottom line, very fragile blades.

It is an excellent drone for the sale price of $60, but I would be really disappointed if I paid the full $150 price of this drone. The 3D flip works, but only for the first half of the battery. The camera works with iphone SE, but I couldn't pair with my LG G5 for some reason with via wifi. The range of the controller is approximately 1 to 1.5 average sized farm fields. However, the camera with not transmit a full field. The camera is good , but is short range. It's about the same range as your home wifi. I have yet to successfully make the one touch return work, but I am new with these and it probably does work. The controller works well and the drone flies pretty well. The guards are not well designed and flying into something will bend the screw and also possibly block the prop, but they have not broke yet and are flexible plastic.

Delivery quicker than anticipated, reactive controls for the price point, easy to fly - would get full stars if the unit had an on/off switch (have to remove battery to power down), and if one of the free buttons on the remote would act as shutter control for photos.

This is my second time purchasing this drone! While learning how to fly the first one I came across a problem a few weeks in where I lost control after take off and the one key return wouldn’t make it land! Upon messaging the company they answered me promptly, giving me a few options of how it could be handled! So I’m more then happy to say that I get to be flying again with this awesome drone, and have had the hands down best experience I’ve ever had with an online company! I would recommend this to anyone that can’t spend a ton, but wants something well above par! Easy 5 star review! Thanks again Drocon!

The drone is easy to use for beginners. Unfortunately we had trouble with ours a couple of times after using it however the company was in contact with us and offered a full replacement at no cost. Update: after informing me that the item would be replaced they contacted me and advised they cannot ship the replacement to Canada. After waiting over one month to get back to me about the warranty. Not impressed.

My 7 year old wanted a drone with a camera for Christmas. I knew that learning to fly wasn't going to be easy for him, but surprise, this is an amazing drone for a kid to learn on! Lots of power, the build quality is spot on for the price point, everything works as it should, is easy to set up and calibrate. OK, sure, the video quality is so-so, but that's to be expected. We bought this to learn to fly: as a ~$100 quadcopter, IMHO it's one of the best. In fact, we liked it so much we ordered a second one for me!
