500 grams is a little more than 17 ounces. 1 teaspoon of tea leaves is enough for a strong cup of tea. 17 ounces will make about a 100 such cups.

Yes it is 85% Assam Black Tea from Assam, India 15% is Rolled Long Leaves to add aroma. I would guess the green and brown leaf you see mixed in is the 15% Rolled. You can't drink this and not know it's Black Tea!

What is the expiration date on this product? It shows only production date.

Product normally expiry date is 2 year's from date of packing. but if it vacum pack may it last longer than written on it.
