Great for the grandchildren

Bought as a gift for an adult who is into crafting. Combines 2 interests of pottery and painting, and the contents are of good quality and provide loads of scope to make multiple items. A bonus that there is enough clay for 2 adults if they want company while crafting.

Brilliant. Bought for something to do over Christmas. The clay is great quality and there is a lot of it. The clay is very easy to work. The tools included are amazing and there is also a book included with ideas and instructions for different projects. The paint and glaze are also good quality. 10/10

This is a great kit for beginners, it comes packed with lots of inspiration, easy to follow instructions and a range of basic tools to start making your clay creations. I've had lots of fun and have since expanded my tool kit, however I will not be buying the Sculpd clay again as it is too 'hairy'. After moulding my pieces, when I later go to sand down the surface to smooth it out the fibres start to stick out in a rather unsightly way. I've never seen this in clay before, I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch that didn't have the fibres properly distributed or if this clay formula just has the fibres too long but I'll be trying other brands before I come back. (The hairiness does disappear when you add paint though so might not be a huge issue for some.) Saying that though, the clay has a lovely feel in the hands, the packaging is super handy for resealing and I can thank the company for giving me a new hobby!

Absolutely fantastic kit. Everything fits in the size of a shoebox, with all the tools you need to get started on your pottery journey. The instructions on how to use the kit go above and beyond to include inspiration for how you could go about using your clay. Although it says this kit is for 2 people, depending what you choose to make you could most definitely split it between 4 or more. The value for money is guaranteed on this purchase. I thoroughly enjoyed it as a beginner, and would buy again. Thanks!

Came without any damage. When opened, everything was nicely packaged. And the essentials are all there if you are a beginner in clay. Would recommend.

I feel like this is a great value for a beginner getting into air, dry clay! I was able to make a ton of little projects with this starter kit and didn’t really need many other tools. I ended up purchasing resin which I like quite a bit more than the glaze it comes with (seals better!)
