After my fiancée's surgery, her knee was extremely swollen and needed some relief applied directly to it, and this was the only wrap I could find that would fit. Not only that, but she has reported that it is actually quite comfortable as well. Keeping it in the freezer for when it is needed is convenient.

Comfortable, stays in place and soft inner liner cools without feeling clammy. Would buy again.

One feature I like about this cold pack is the part that wraps around to apply cold to the back of the knee. But it could be a little wider. The straps secure it reasonably well so it stays in good contact while the knee is elevated. But the volume of gel in the pack is fairly heavy so it can slip down if worn while walking around.

I bought this for my son after his elbow surgery (they took cartilage from his knee), and it’s been fantastic for helping with swelling and recovery. The wrap design makes it easy to use, it stays cold for a long time, and it fits securely around the knee without slipping. One thing to note: it can get very cold directly on the skin. We had to place a thin pillowcase in between for comfort. After 2 years of using bags of peas or corn or small icepacks wrapped in towels to get some relief for my sore knees. I guess it just never occurred to me to get something easier. The NEWGO Reusable Gel Cold Pack is a game changer! I am on a waiting list for knee replacement (both knees) and it's a really long wait list. This Gel Pack has cooling on the knee cap, above and below the knee cap and behind the knee cap, all at once!!! It would take a long time for me to position ice packs on each of those sections of my knees and now it's 20 minutes on and then swap knees and I'm good for hours. I highly, highly recommend this item. It is flexible, softer with material on one side and plastic on the other. The plastic side seems a little colder so I put that right over my p.j.'s. I can't believe I waited this long to finally get an ice pack that gives me great relief!
