Delonghi EC685.M DEDICA 15-Bar Pump Espresso Machine Coffee Maker, Stainless Steel, 220 Volts (Not for USA - European Cord)

So quiet - love this machine. This is our second one: the first one lasted about 2 years, but we did not descale it at all. By the time we realized the problem, it was too late to save. We got another one because of the quietness of the first one. Easy to use.

This espresso maker is super--easy to use, efficient and elegant design, and clear control panel.

Just bought this from BBB and it’s fine. Had an EC701 for 14years till it started leaking and could not find parts to fix it. Pros: ease of use, programmable (EC 701 was manual and had to make sure you were there to stop the brewing), nice smallish foot print. Cons: the filters are pressurized (what gives DeLonghi?) (waiting on my non pressurized filter) I am using an OXO burr grinder (love it) to grind my beans. After my first brew I was like, oh no; I made a mistake. I nerd’d out on reviews and YouTube. The crema was so so. (EC 701 crema was on point no matter what) After few brews I have it dialed in. I grind my beans on and in between 2 and 3 in the fine area of the dial on the grinder, my first brew was on the 1 setting (finest) in the fine area and the grind setting. With the grind dialed in and not tamping to much the crema and flavor improved. As soon as my non-pressurized filter comes in I’ll update this. Will add the Rancilio steam wand after the warranty is up ( I don’t steam that much unless somebody wants a cappuccino). So not five stars yet till I see how it performs with a non-pressurized filter. I would buy this again and any negative reviews of machine not working (read the owners manual) can be fixed by customer support.

220 Volt? Most kitchen don't have 220 Volt.

This product was defective when it was delivered. The return/exchange process was been more difficult.

This was a European product. The electrical plug would not fit a USA socket. Not useable in this country.

Ho acquistato la De’Longhi Dedica Style nel febbraio 2022 e, a distanza di tempo, posso dire che sta ancora funzionando egregiamente. È una macchina compatta, elegante e molto pratica da usare, ideale per chi vuole preparare un buon caffè espresso a casa senza occupare troppo spazio. Il punto forte è sicuramente la qualità del caffè: il risultato è davvero ottimo, con un espresso cremoso e dal buon aroma. Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto. L’unico piccolo difetto riscontrato è che ogni tanto la macchina non si spegne automaticamente, quindi bisogna ricordarsi di spegnerla manualmente. A parte questo dettaglio, non ho avuto problemi rilevanti e continua a fare il suo lavoro molto bene. In sintesi: dopo anni di utilizzo funziona ancora benissimo e prepara un caffè ottimo. Piccolo neo sullo spegnimento automatico, ma nel complesso prodotto assolutamente consigliato.

I bought the machine from LBY thinking that it would come with the Singapore/UK plug. Upon arrival, I realized it comes with the EU plug and the warranty is not valid in Singapore. Contacted the seller and they refunded $10 to get a adapter plug and offered to cover repairs up to the cost of the machine within 1 year. I’m impressed by the service and I’m happy with the purchase as it cost about $80 lower than local stores and the machine works well.

En av mina bästa köp på Amazon. Väldigt bra kaffe maskin. Använder den varje dag och njuter väldigt bra kaffe varje dag. Visst krävs det lite jobb då den inte är hel automatisk som andra maskiner. Men jag tycker att just detta ger min kaffe den där lilla extra. Du får väldigt bra kaffe för en billig pris. Den är dekorativ också tycker jag.

Llevo varias semanas usándola a diario y no puedo estar más contento con la compra. Lo que más destaca de entrada es su diseño: es supercompacta (apenas ocupa 15 cm de ancho), por lo que queda perfecta en la encimera sin quitar espacio para cocinar. El acabado en metal le da un aspecto muy elegante y de buena calidad. En cuanto a su funcionamiento: El café sale perfecto: Consigue una crema densa y un sabor intenso gracias a la presión que alcanza. Nada que envidiar a cafeterías profesionales. Versátil: Funciona estupendamente con café molido, pero también acepta monodosis ESE, lo cual es ideal para cuando vas con prisas. Espumador manual: El tubo de vapor para la leche funciona muy bien para cremar la leche o preparar cappuccinos bien esponjosos. Calentamiento rápido: En cuestión de segundos está lista para tirar el café.

Really pleased with this. I bought it for my husband at Christmas. He's always loved his cafetiere and said he would not be interested in a machine. Thought I'd risk it as I like a latte! Husband loves it. He cannot get over how much nicer it makes his same brand ground coffee taste, compared to the cafetiere.
