what kind of color and light does this give off? I am looking for a soft white/slightly yellow hue instead of a bright white spotlight. Thanks!

Very disappointed as I got the 2700K and they are clearly not that, and are instead a rather cool white (maybe up around 3500K or 4500K). I am comparing to other 2700K LEDs that we have and also to the incandescent bulbs we replaced. This is far to stark a light in a living room.

Are these bulbs designed to work well with a timer switch?

I found out the hard way not all timers work CFL or LED, I'd check the specs or ask the manufacturer. This is a timer, not a photo-cell, correct? Not all cells work with LEDs.

What is the cri of the 3000k bulb?
