I purchased these bulbs for an entryway chandelier. When they first arrived I honestly considered immediately returning them because they looked and felt so cheap and flimsy. I’m so glad I decided to try them because they are amazing! As long as you aren’t using them where the actual bulb will be seen, these will not disappoint. They are bright and crisp and give an even light distribution. I was hesitant to purchase such a low wattage but these are very bright. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and will be purchasing this product again.

How does one give a review one lightbulb? After all the turns on in fits and arrived in good condition that's pretty much reliable supposed to do. The color is soft, and the bulbs are decorative enough to use exposed. They put out a lot of light for being such a small wattage. I replaced 40 W bulbs, with these 3 W energy savers and they're just as bright possibly brighter.

If you're like me, every once in a while you just want to have a basic low wattage light that you can leave on all the time. And it should fit in a standard base. I don't know why these are so hard-to-find. The standard stores carry only 60 W equivalence. The other problem is the low wattage bulbs often have a candelabra brace or they have that old style look which is very nice but I want to put them in a simple hallway lamp. These are perfect. A very comfortable soft light. You can leave it on all the time to keep the hallway lit and it only draws 3 W

25 watt equivalent LED bulbs are not common yet. Odd, because we use them a lot in multiple bulb lamps and decorative lamps. These work just fine, run cool, hopefully last years.

3W LED compared to 25 W incandescent and puts out more light [ 270 lumens compared to GE decorative @ 180 lumens]. So far they all have worked fine. Claimed to be warm white at color temp of 3000K, but I suspect the color temp is hotter and closer to halfway between a daylight and soft white, than a true soft white bulb; nevertheless it lives up to being "warm" white. If you really want soft white the GE decorative is definitely more pink.

I am trying to be eco conscious. I had swapped out old bulbs with the twirly bulbs , and now I am changing to LED. I use these for the smaller lamps I have on timers as night lights. These are the more yellow color so better in my living room and hallways. They don't produce a lot of heat which I like. I am not sure how many decades it will take to use all of these. but I have them.

While 25 watt incandescent bulbs looked great in my entry way chandelier they kept burning out even though they were rarely turned on. I thought that replacing them with LED lights would solve that problem and reduce wattage from 125W to 15W total. However, I notice three problems right away. Both the intensity and color temperature varied among the lights. In addition, because the lower half of the LED light above the screw-in socket is covered the lower half of the light fixture appears darker. This is not a problem with incandescent bulbs. These are not major problems because I am sure most people would not look that closely.

Love these!! Nice warm natural light, not cold or icky like fluorescent. Only issue is they don’t radiate around like regular bulbs, so if it’s goibg in one of those closed dome-type ceiling fixtures(know what I mean?) the light tends to just mostly go straight out and not diffuse throughout the dome. If ur light has two bulbs in opposite directions I think you’ll love these bulbs. But I’ve got a hall light with one bulb and it looks kinda odd with one side more lighter than the other..but it’s fine and lasts waaaay longer than incandescent and doesn’t get scorching hot, so I’m not complaining.
