Definition Waterproof Eyeliner – Precise, Long-Lasting Liquid Eyeliner, Smudge-Resistant, Intense Black, Easy Application – 2.5ml

My review was number one on here for this eyeliner for years because I tried and and reviewed more than 8 products but now that it's possibly being discontinued, I am noticing third party sellers on here charging over more than double or even TRIPLE the normal price. Kiko Milano's website showed it was out of stock until today, and I notice they have doubled the price of the eyeliner and it's now $21.99! It's still a drug store grade product so if you are going to pay that price, the only other eyeliner that was better than this one was Mac's Liquid Last. Don't get gouged! The problems I have had with the liner was that it would dry up and the consistency became gloopy after about 2-3 months. The only way I found to remedy those problems was to clean the brush one time with make remover and to use disposable mascara wands as needed. It does waste some product, but it would last longer and not be thick or gloppy. It was superior to all I had tested (except for one) and I bought this for years for $12.99. Now, they have priced it the same as Mac's so I have decided to switch brands. Here is my original review for those interested." I have worn Make Up Forever's Pro Liner for the last decade. It's been discontinued and so I have been searching high and low for a suitable replacement. It has to be waterproof, long lasting, matte and not thick! I also have to use a brush, not a felt tip thingy because I am old school. First one I tried, Mac Liquidlast but it was soooo thick that it was impossible to get a smooth line without globs. Second one, Thrive Causemetics. Not matte, not waterproof so off the list. I was very disappointed in that one. Easy application for a beginner but it didn't stay on well either. Third, Blinc. This one rolls right up into a little ball when dampened and with a light amount of rubbing. Maybe that's what they designed it to do. But, I live in humid Florida and work outside so that one didn't make the cut. I did like the brush, the color and the way it applied but I don't believe for a second it would be a long wearing eyeliner (which isn't that the point?) The fourth one was Kiko Milano. This one is in a class by itself. This one isn't coming off without using a remover and an eyewipe (which I have, so not a problem!) For me, this one is the winner thus far. It's a little bit thick but so much thinner than Mac's Liquidlast that I'll adjust. You might need a makeup brush dipped in remover until you get used to the formula. The fifth, and the biggest loser in the race is Wunder 2 Super Stay Liquid eyeliner. I am really mad I bought that. I knew their pencils were junk (you cannot sharpen them at all because the pencil is plastic and the liner itself is extremely soft.) If you complain, you will get the answer "You need to use a professional pencil sharpener." Yeah, right! Whatever that is! This liquid eyeliner comes right off, it isn't matte, it has a weird felt tip thingy, and it's not even a nice rich pigment. I will be testing more before I settle on Kiko Milano for sure but so for, it's the closest thing to MakeUp Forever Proliner (not to be confused with Make Up Forever Aqua liner...which I don't like.) The next one tested (and the most expensive was Guerlain at $38) ouch! Useless as far as being waterproof. I found it useful in a way though because the eyeliners that are waterproof sometimes go on uneven because they are thick. Maybe some of the others can be used to even out the thicker liner when it doesn't go on as easily. The final two are Bobbi Brown and a stage make up called Ben Nye. Neither compared to the Mac Liquidlast or Kiko Milano but Bobbi Brown's comes in third thus far. I hope this helps someone. Feel free to ask questions. I am 56 and have worn eyeliner since my teens. If you need a LOWER LASH EYELINER that does not flake off or fade off, THIS IS IT. That is ME holding it in the photo. I have been DISGUSTED by every single eyeliner I've ever gotten for my lower lashes. I've tried those in little pots, all sorts of pencils, Revlon liquid with tiny brush, even a dry powder eyeliner--you name it. They ALWAYS had loss of the eyeliner by early afternoon. ALL of them. And I don't need that, as my eyes and lashes are pale and I need definition I finally heard about this one: KIKO definition WATERPROOF eyeliner and started using it over a week ago. And it does NOT come off. It looks exactly the same before I go to bed. I am not exaggerating. And I just did a test. Three hours after I put Kiko on on my lower lash line, I took a shower to wash my hair. And when I got out, it was STILL THERE. You know what was under my eyes?? The pencil eyeliner that was on my upper lashes. NOT Kiko on my lower. So I strongly recommend it if you are also tired of eyeliners that say "water resistant" (hardly) or "waterproof" (not). Also note that I put it on very close to and hopefully "in" my lower lash line, and I have to wipe excess off with my fingers underneath to keep it thin. And it stains my fingers! Ha. So I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup remover on my fingers to get it right off. I also use the same thing to remove it at night. I soak a cotton pad, close my eye tight, and it comes off. I highly recommend if you want a TRUE WATERPROOF eyeliner.

When I tell you this eyeliner is smudge proof it is smudge proof!!!! I love this eyeliner. This is going to be my new go to. I have hooded oily eyelids and it’s very hard to find eyeliner that won’t transfer a ring on my eyelids after a couple hours.. I was buy huda life liner but it’s very pricey to only last a couple times... now I do wish this eyeliner was matte.. I’m more of a matte person I don’t like shiny lids.. the eyeliner is thick which is another thing I’m not crazy about but for the price and the staying power I can deal with it..it does need some type of oil based makeup remover because when I got home from wearing it 12+ hours I took a makeup wipe and it won’t come off without a fight..I’m a new life customer for this eyeliner!

Great eyeliner, finally found a brand that last during the day even if some tears arrive (do not misunderstand, I have dry eyes so every time I use eye drops some tears appears haha). The only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars is because the pencil / brush that comes with it is not too thin and also the stick holds too mucha product so cannot be easy to use. What I’m doing is using another pencil with the product to apply it, besides that definitely worth it. 🥰

The beast no smudge eyeliner that lasts all day and sometimes more. It does need time to dry. It is very black and easy to apply with a small brush. It does not irritate my eyes or skin.

Stays on really well but hard to remove. Always leave black particles behind.

Es lo mejor de lo mejor hace mucho tiempo tenía uno parecido. Vi las opiniones y dije me arriesgaré. Y estoy súper encantada más de lo que se ve. Es maravilloso fui x cuatro horas a bañarme al Mr. Y mi delineador no se corre ni se quita. Igual como lo puse. Lo amo.

Great eyeliner. It stays for hours. Better than much more expensive ones

Es bueno si practicas natación o si sudas mucho, porque aguanta intacto todo el día, no se despinta ni se embarra. Lo malo es que no se desmaquilla con productos regulares o suaves, forzosamente debes usar aguas mice lares con aceite, de lo contrario simplemente no saldrá aunque te talles mil veces. Esto es muy problemático si tienes piel sensible o reseca, porque te lastimará la piel. La otra desventaja es que este tipo de aplicador es difícil de usar y no favorece para nada la precisión, para eso es mejor el delineador Kiko mate o el lápiz. Esos sí son súper precisos, este para nada. Si no tienes un excelente pulso y si tienes piel sensible o reseca, este producto definitivamente no es para ti. Lo recomiendo solo si tienes que nadar o hacer alguna actividad física que necesite un delineador de duración extrema.
