I have been mostly using the Honeywell 20x20x5 filters for years and have been happy with them overall. All of these thick (4" and 5") are more expensive than they seem like they ought to be. Why is a 5" filter $25 and the same size 1" only $3??? Amazon price on these is the best I could find anywhere---even for generic brands of this size. When the filters arrived, they said 20x20x4 instead of 20x20x5 on the listing and on my order, so I thought, of course, that the wrong filter was sent. However the actual width of the filter is 4 and 3/8" ---exactly the same as the 20x20x5 Honeywell that I am replacing. Confusing to me when the 20x20x5 and 20x20x4 are the same filter. Bottom line is it fits well and seems to filter well. The cardboard cage could be a little sturdier, especially for the price, but other brands are just as flimsy. Also listing says MERV 11 in several places and MERV 10 under "about the item". It is a MERV 11.

consistently good filters

I love the consistency and reliability of Honeywell. Since I cannot locate these ones in the home improvement stores in our area, the convenience of Amazon made it possible to still get these quickly and not in an off-brand capacity. They are great quality and very easy to replace in our Bosch unit. It fits snuggly and we are breathing easier. It has really helped with the amount of dust settling. I highly recommend these and am glad it was the initial kind installed in our new unit so we have continued to purchase and use this one only since.

These Honeywell filters are exactly as described. Arrived well packed and undamaged. Fit perfectly. I ordered the five pack, so I’m set for five years. UPDATE: I find these filters are most effective if changed out every six months.

Good buy and good price

These are good filters that fit the Honeywell filter holders. This is both the standard holder and the holder for the electronic filters. My filter opening is a bit obscured by the plumbing for the water heater requiring that I bend the filter around to get it in. The cardboard sides of these filters pop back into place after bending.

The heat pump people charge way too much for a filter, great value. First order didn't arrive and after waiting there time frame they promptly sent out a replacement, thank you.
