you buy now
Looked and felt like new, contents of package was, lens covers, battery and charger and a nikon neck strap. Great beginner camera, color was black as ad indicated. You will need an SD card to use it at all so be sure to have one ready for it. I have had the camera for over 2 months now and have had no issues. One issue when I received the camera it, it was not set up in English so that took me a while to learn a whole new language to only find out afterwards with a little youtube searching how to set it back to English.....boy was my face red

It's a good little camera and takes great pictures
What is there to say -- it's a Nikon. It's a good little camera and takes great pictures, but has too many buttons for an old geezer like me. I tried to set the shutter speed and ISO separately on manual, but they seemed to be tied together. How I long for my old Pentax and Canon back but that's another story. It seems like such a waste to buy a DSLR just to shoot on automatic so I'll keep trying the manual function.

Great starter camera
I got this for my daughter who just started getting into photography, she loves it. She said it’s the same camera she learned on in photography class, she said it’s pretty easy to use and has just enough functions for a beginner. Cannot tell it’s referbished at all, works perfectly!

This doesn’t come with battery or charger
We ordered this for our son for Christmas and we live very remotely (and internationally). We had it delivered for a trip back to Indonesia and my husband packed in a flurry and had no idea that this wasn’t equipped with the strap, batteries or charger. Now we have to give him a Christmas present that we aren’t even sure works… super unfortunate and should be more clearly noted in the description.

Great beginner camera
This is my first dslr camera and I love it. I've been playing around with it for about a month now and have gotten some beautiful pictures! The pictures of the hot air balloons were lightly edited, but you get a feel for the possibilities with this camera. Camera works like its brand new!

Satisfied.
Cameras arrived quickly. Was all new packaging. Everything described was included. Pictures are really nice. I use this for slorti that my son plays. Zoom is a little short, blurry if more than I'd say 40 feet away. Focus is ok. Not good for a moving target. This is a great starter camera.

Good as new
Perfect for what I wanted! Love the camera. Even though it is certified refurbished, it's perfect. I might never buy anything like this again that isn't refurbished. It's worth the price cut. I vote yes on this camera for beginner photographers.
