Perfect for picking up powdered vitamins and putting into empty capsules

I recently bought empty capsules to fill with a powdered fibre supplement but, between the awkward shape of a normal spoon and my comical lack of coordination, I quickly realised I needed something with a bit more precision. As I'm only scooping small amounts of psyllium husk, the spatula is sturdy enough for me. It fits into the size 00 capsule with ease, meaning very little mess - even with my shaky, dyspraxic hands. The flat end is also really useful; it compressed the powder so effectively I managed to get one dose into 20% fewer capsules than my previous attempts. Other reviews indicate that the spatulas don't stand up to more vigorous tasks but if you're working with very light, dry materials, these are a great option at an affordable price.

Great micro lab spoons. Great for lots of different uses. I initially thought these were glass however they are plastic. This hasn’t been an issue in use.

The plastic is low quality and leaves so much residue from everything, powders, liquids, and even solids if they aren't something like a Lego brick. Do not stir anything that may become viscous or god forbid sticky. Do not stick into acetone or similar solvents, as they dissolve the plastic.

Not as advertised. These are all the same size, rather than all different sizes.

Very fragile and flimsy. Broke on first use. Not very good value.

The material and shape of the spoon makes it easy to scoop up around 100mg of powder, and keep it there for was long as you hold it straight. For the price these are a bargain since you get 6 of them. I would have been happy getting 2 for that price. Works very well with size 0, and pretty well with size 00. That should statistically mean it either actually goes best together with size 0, or size 1, which I haven't tried. The best thing is that the powder stays fully stable in the scoop until you decide to tilt it forward into a capsule for example. Using the opposite end to pack the powder is a great feature, but doesn't work well with 0 capsules because it pulls some powder up against the inside walls of the capsule. That ends with a fair amount of spilled powder on my fingers and anything happening to reside under the pill in your working area. It could be a matter of getting used to and training your muscle memory a while before it turns out the way you want it to. Out of respect of the possibility it only takes a bit more practice, I have to give them five stars, seen to the overall quality, functional performance and price tag. Highly recommended!
