In Thailand, where this wood comes from, the mango tree only gives fruit off for approximately five years, after which the fruit is no longer up to par, and so the tree must be replaced. We parterned up with great workshops to ensure that the wood we received has come from these orchards, so that forest trees are not being cut down. Please hand-clean with a damp cloth or feather duster We highly recommend not putting water in the vase, and if so, only for a few days at a time. Better than anticipated
I was looking for a vase that had some height to it as my ceiling is very high. This fit the bill perfectly! Stands tall but is very narrow and fits on my small depth fireplace mantel. I am still trying to figure out the dried flowers to use (currently using hyrdrangeas) but overall I think the vase will work well. I do not use them for live flowers so the fact that they are wood doesn't bother me at all. They don't look like wood by the way. They almost look ceramic from a distance.

Looks great in my remodeled bathroom. There were spots that had missing paint that I touched up.

Nice, but smelled funny
I know it's weird to say that a vase "smells", but once I opened the package I definitely smelled some chemicals. The odor was so strong I concerned sending back. After I let air out, no problems. The vase is nice, I used it to display some fall flora, and will continue to use through the holidays and everyday use. It's a tall vase and stands out without being overbearing.

Can easily break apart...
Received the item today. Love it already when I uncovered the first vase with a piece of newspaper only as a cushion. Surprisingly the 2nd vase did not meet my expectation as it has 3 big cracks obviously from poor packaging...

Poor quality
The vase arrived with chipped paint in the center and a big "seam" across it. It looks cheap despite the pricetag. I am definitely returning it. So disappointing. Not worth the price at all.

Nice vase, nice shine nice height
I love them! 3 stars because one has a 2 chips. I would send back but don't feel like the hassle.
