The product is well constructed. Very easy to install, although in my case I had to cut holes in my one piece bed liner to get the clamp in the proper location. This was not a problem with the clamp just with the inexpensive liner that was in my truck. Once installed the shell is solidly connected to the truck bed. The previous owner just had four screws holding the shell down. These work so much better. And will make removing and reattaching the shell, if needed, much simpler.

I purchased a used Leer canopy for my Ranger, which came with four clamps that were a poor fit and stuck out too far from the bed rail. These clamps are perfect. They fit in close and don't stick out in the way, the clamp pad is perfectly centered on the bed rail, and they are clearly more heavy duty than the old clamps. The picture is of new and old clamps, side by side. The only cons for me is that they did not offer them in black and they did not offer them in six packs (I always use six clamps on any canopy installation). But I have no complaints against the product itself. In looking at the reviews, it appears the only people rating them low is the people who bought the wrong size clamp and found they do not fit. I don't understand why people rate a product low when they are the ones who bought the wrong size!

I used these to hold down an ARE DCU commercial top on to a 2020 Nissan Frontier. These replaced some that I got from the guy that sold it to me. He provided four big 'ol honkers that stuck out way too far. These are pretty snug and much closer to the sides of the bed.

These were great to use on my ford ranger

I dunno why they put aluminum with steel after a period of time it causes electrolysis. Therefore, i bought these for my ARE truck topper. They work a little smaller than the original, but work well. I put a little lithium grease in the threads to prevent electrolysis.

I bought the Vevor adjustable aluminum bed rack for my 1998 Toyota Tacoma 1st gen. The clamps I received with the rack were too long where they became loose and dangerous and wouldn't hold the rack to the bed properly. I purchased these G-30 Clamps and they are absolutely the perfect match and fit for the 1st gen Tacomas. Look no further! My bed doesn't have a liner or anything so these just clamp on perfectly to a non modified Tacoma bed. BUY THESE! They are super strong and rigid! Hope this helps another 1st gen taco owner make the decision as to which clamps to buy.

Be sure to clamp correctly or they come loose

Seem very well made however this model(G-30) does not fit a Chevy Colorado as the listing and chart said it would, at least not with a Leer cap. Had to return and order the G-1 instead.
