I didn’t have any luck after planting it in a pot either. I think if I were to try it again I would root it and then plant it in the ground until it takes off and then pot it as a bonsai.

When I purchased this, I received 3 cuttings. Two of them have grown to about 5 inches while the third one is still hanging on. So, to answer your question, yes the dwarf trees are growing.

Sounds like maybe you got root-rot? 🤔 did your water go brown, and sit without changing? If so, in my unexpert opinion, could be so. I'm a week in and already have buds on all roots/cuttings.
