Karat C-KC626TSU 12-24oz 98mm PET Flat Lids 1,000 ct

We have received several batches where the center hole is not stamped through, making it difficult to insert a straw.

Many of the lids had curled edges which made them difficult to place on the cups. Unless the curled edge was initially placed in the lip of the cup, it could not readily be snapped into place. We broke many lids while trying to place them.Loved the idea of using a compostable PLA product but the lids were frequently problematic.

These lids of course fit the Karat cups but they also fit solo cups if you pay attention to the actual dimensions of the cup you are looking to fit. Not at all flimsy. Karat is proving to be an elegant brand.

Normally dont post stuff like this but I feel like I got shafted by Karat. I recently switched to Karat brand and their 98mm lids do not fit there 98mm cups! The whole box of 500 lids dont fit. Now, Im being told the Karat 117mm dome lids for deli containers are out of stock too and that Ill be receiving a refund instead of the dome lids. Im having to go back to the last brand I was using.

These lids are a great deal, they are sturdy and fit a variety of cups. However several sleeves in the box are riddled with black flakes that are melded in the lids plastic. Every drink we hand out looks dirty and unclean. We threw 3 sleeves lids away in our first order of 1000 and have always thrown away 2 more sleeves away from our recent order. Will not be ordering these again.
