A really good quality speaker👍🏼
A really good speaker for the price. Paid £25.48 in a flash sale at time of purchase. I've used a few portable bluetooth speakers over the years from different manufacturers/brands such as Goodman's, Ultimate Ears and Bose. So have some references to compare this speaker to. I've personally not heard of this speaker manufacturer before. But after reading some reviews thought I'd give it a shot, as I wanted a decent speaker to take to work with me, but also didn't want to risk taking an expensive one and it going walkabouts if accidentally left behind. This speaker fit the bill perfectly, as I'd be absolutely gutted if it went missing, but it also wouldn't cost a fortune to replace if it was ever stolen or broken. Sound quality: Compared to the other speakers I've used, this is probably the second best speaker I've had in respect of it's sound quality. It's really impressed me. The Bose speaker was number one in my personal opinion for sound quality... But then the Bose speaker was £££, where as this cost £25, and the sound from this speaker is, honestly, almost as good as the Bose. For such a small speaker (the size of a coke can) it puts out loud volume with really good quality sound. Now, the bass from this definitely isn't going to shake your eyeballs. I think some of the reviews are definitely a little embellished in respect of the bass this speaker puts out. But, I will say that when compared to other speakers of the same size that i've listened to, this does have a higher quality bass output. Build quality: The speaker feels REALLY high quality. It has a decent weight to it which makes it feel more premium and the materials used feel good to the touch. The black surround has a slightly rubberised textured feel to it, so it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic. It comes well packaged (not just thrown in a box like a lot of other portable bluetooth speakers) and comes with a Usb-C charging cable and an aux cable inside too. There's also instructions on how to use the speaker if you need them. Overall I'm extremely impressed by this speaker. For a brand/manufacturer that I've personally not heard of, It feels better quality than some of the other well known brands I've used and also has a better quality sound. Definitely worth it's price and would highly recommend it.

Seriously impressed
I was looking for a decent and cheap portable speaker to throw in a bag to take on trips, to play in hotel rooms, on the beach etc and came across the Miatone. It's not a brand I'd ever heard before. I got it on offer for 25 quid which in hindsight is a total steal. Build-wise this thing isn't cheap by any means. It's robust, well designed, stylish and honestly I'm shocked how good this little speaker both looks and performs. I've have had a Bose Soundlink Mini for many years that's been hammered and battered to death taking it places...so I made the decision to retire that to just home use now. Consciously or not I guess I'm comparing it against my Bose, which on paper would be pretty unfair to expect it to live up to being as good. But in reality it's a different story. While it's not quite hitting the same spectrum of sounds, warmth, depth etc as the Soundlink it's genuinely not that far off at all....especially when you use an eq app on your phone.... so it's nearly on par with something that costs more than quadruple the price, which in this day an age really doesn't happen a lot! Thank you Miatone for creating something rather lovely and quality...not skimping or cutting corners, just delivering something GOOD, that will hopefully last for many years and I'll get a lot of enjoyment out of. Buy, you will not regret!

Quality sound from a perfect sized speaker.
A brilliant little speaker, crystal clear sound. Bought it to use in conjunction with my new Sniper 22 " tv on my narrowboat; works a treat. Very satisfied.

Speaker punches well above it's weight
Very good little speaker which punches well above it's weight. I tried it against 3 other budget waterproof speakers (Sony SRS-XB100, DUDGSIS, and JUOVI clip) and it outshone them all. I compared them one to one with my 'reference' small speaker, a BOSE Soundlink Mini, which has excellent sound, but hey it costs 5 times as much as these, so you hope it would. The JUOVI was worse, just a cheap tinny sound, although the case and clip feature looked handy. The DUDGSIS was out of the race next, as again a fairly cheap unpleasant sound. Which left the Miatone against the Sony. The Sony was good to be fair, the bass was very tight and better defined compared to the Miatone, but the mid and treble just merged into each other and were a bit washed out. The Miatone had the best all round sound from these four, and it was genuinely enjoyable to listen to. The lights on top were a fun addition but I was more interested in the sound quality so wasn't too fussed about that. The neat little hanging hook is handy for hanging or clipping onto something eg. a bag or bike. It pairs easily and quickly on bluetooth and battery life is great (not had to recharge it yet after a couple of days).

Buy the same colour speaker if pairing!
This speaker is excellent! So bought a second to pair but couldn't pair with other black speaker as this one is purple. If you're buying two to pair, buy the same colour. A lot of wasted time trying to pair. NOT MADE CLEAR IN DESCRIPTION 🙄

MIATONE Bluetooth speaker
I purchased this MIATONE Bluetooth speaker in February after reviewing it on YouTube. I have so many Bluetooth speakers I thought I'd take a chance on this one because of it small size I was very skeptical at first! But when I received it I was totally amazed at the quality of this speaker really is. It connected to Bluetooth from my Hiby R4 without any problem at all. And to my amazement the sound quality was absolutely brilliant. So I immediately ordered another one for stereo pairing! They both connected together no problem whatsoever and they sound absolutely amazing for such small speakers I couldn't believe the quality sounded it's not over based and the higher mids are just right. I have got quite a few small Bluetooth speakers and I have got to say these two must be the best sounding I've ever heard. if you want to hear crystal clear sound I can Highly recommend these!! Got them on Amazon for a good price John mac

Unbelievably loud!
Well rounded sound with no distortion. I am getting compliments about this speaker's volume. I use for nearly anything, including watching anime - which elevates the watching experience. Battery life is long, I tested and got around 9 hours on regular use, not full volume. The only issue I have is the battery indicator on the phone is not accurate, as at 40% the battery dies. No fix but because the battery lasts long, it's easy to estimate when to charge. I have 2 so tested the stereo pairing as well. From experience, it works fine, although it just feels like there is less bass when playing in stereo mode, but maybe it's just me. I usually just use one speaker at a time because it's loud enough. Also customer service is very responsive and acknowledges the issues.

Great little speaker
Love this speaker, I have been looking for a decent speaker for all my teams calls. I have used 2 previously, but the mic never worked and had to switch them off everytime I wanted to speak. With this one everyone can hear me and the sound is super loud, so I can still hear if I pop next door to the kitchen. It sounds louder than a 30W speaker I bought. Sound is very clear and great bass. I am super happy. I bought this just for my laptop, but I will take it on my travels as well. I have a 50W zamkol speaker which is amazing, which I use if I want really loud music. But this is now my go to for travel and calls. Great value for money and excellent quality. Also you can use it while charging, whereas with my previous one I couldn't, if the battery was dead. You do have to charge for 5 mins first and then it will switch on and you can use while charging.

Great for the price!!
What a nice little "boom box". Having a low price point, I didn't expect much. Sound is better than I expected out of such a small unit.

Powerful little thing!
I’m all for sound quality. My credibility: I have a SONOS system that I love dearly. I bought these on a whim as Christmas gifts for family and just tested one out of the box and literally what you’re paying for is AMAZING. It’s very loud and the bass is great. It’s a tiny compact speaker, has a portable strap, and is just amazing for what you’re paying for. It was easy to turn on and connect to. It was either this or a JBL Go and honestly I feel like these sound better than the JBL. I say go with this one!!!

Powerful Portable Speaker But Missing Assistant Support
First off, to clarify controls the Manual makes confusing: - The Play button is Play/Pause, Call Answer/End and Redial(double press), and a long press activates Bluetooth pairing mode. - Volume Up is long press Next Track - Volume Down is long press Previous Track - Infinity looking button is solely for pairing two speakers together into stereo mode - Power button is only for long press power Pros: - This is a powerful speaker with strong base that can easily fill a room, let alone be heard in a shower. - The design is compact and easy to carry around, with nice fabric covers over the speakers. A distinctive diaphragm is on top which enhances the base and is a nice visual touch. - A 3.5mm Aux port and USB-C charging port are under a thick sealed flap on the back under the power button, making it convenient to charge with your existing cables and power supplies. (I especially appreciate the USB-C since a lot of accessories still go with Micro-B and I just want to move on from that standard at this point) Cons: - The base is powerful, possibly overwhelming at times, depending on the media. If your playback device/app has an equalizer, I suggest possibly decreasing the base output a bit if you can. - There is a complete lack of any kind of smart assistant support. There is no way to trigger Siri or Google Assistant from the speaker, and even if you do trigger it from your phone the mic on the speaker won't respond, forcing you to speak to your phone. For a device that you'd think would heavily benefit from the modern hands-free features of smart phones, especially in the shower, this is an odd oversight. - After fiddling I was able to get this to pair to my Google Home Mini, but only as an audio output; again I couldn't trigger Google Assistant from the speaker. At least though, the Play/Pause/Track Skipping buttons worked with the Home Mini. Volume is not synced with the Home Mini though, so the volume buttons on the speaker control the speaker itself, not the volume output of the Home Mini, which can lead to fiddling with the volume on both if the audio is too quiet/loud. Overall: Very nice hardware let down by a lack of assistant support. I'll probably keep it as it's still a good speaker for a decent price that I can find use for, but I'll still be shopping around for something that can support Google Assistant.

I want another one. To replace this broken one.
Update 2: the company reached out to me with options to make sure I was fully satisfied. I am, now. Thank you! Update: 1 month later and now I just have a paperweight. Turns on, connects and immediately shuts down. Sometimes it makes a beeping sound like a busy signal on a phone. 2 beeps then shuts down. Manual has no troubleshooting. Miatone website doesnt even have it listed as a product. Dont have the box anymore so i cant return it. Kinda sucks having to take this loss. Wish i knew what was wrong. Original review: i work in a kitchen, and bought this so everyone could enjoy music when possible. Didn't want to spend too much money because the last speakers we had got mistreated. Also, with all of the mess that flies around in the air, it's prone to getting dirty and didn't want to sacrifice an expensive speaker. This thing blew me away. Gets surprisingly loud. And the bass is impressive. Not deep, chest punch bass, but you can clearly make out bass guitars in rock and funk music, and even rap/hip-hop/edm had some carry. I'm impressed. Everyone else who has listened closely is impressed. Out of the box, mine was VERY dead. And it charges so slowly. So I thought the speaker was just DOA. But I just left it to charge and ran errands and came back to find out that I'm just stupid. It's got AUX in which is nice. Except barely anyone has a phone with a 3.5mm jack anymore so that's something. And the USB-C charging is a godsend. Micro USB broke on the last speaker we had. If you're on the fence about this one, just commit. It's worth it.
