Great product, consider this over the Lego Colosseum
I was planning to buy the Lego Colosseum but once I saw the astronomical price of $550, I searched for alternatives and came across this product. Lego has a great brand and is known for a quality product but if you gave me this product without knowing I would think it’s Lego. This is a huge set perfect for any brick building enthusiast. The bricks are extremely high quality and fit together very tightly. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a set that is super fun and challenging.

Must Have Display and Fun to Build
This is an awesome set. The quality is top notch. I was looking for a challenging (large number of pieces set) and this mimics the actual Colosseum so well! Great value due to the size as it took my young daughter and me around 17-18 hours to complete. Therefore, we were able to spread the fun out over several days. And it is now on display for all friends and family to view when they come over. Definitely recommend!

Well worth the money
Originally, I was a bit hesitant to buy such a complex set from a brand I was not so familiar with. However, after building the set, the quality and value exceeded my expectations. I have been building Legos my whole life, but recently have felt that some of the sets are increasingly expensive and out of reach from many people including myself. This set is comparable to Lego quality at a fair price. Excellent product!

Fantastic set, amazingly similar to the real Colosseum
It's been a few years since I was in Rome but I still vividly remember walking through the Colosseum marveling at the ancient structure. It brought back lots of memories as our family put this set together (it was definitely a team effort). This set is enormous.Over 6k pieces and most of them are pretty dang small. The pieces themselves are nearly indistinguishable from real legos. The colors match perfect and the studs fit exactly the same. The pieces were organized into manageable subsets in bags and the instructions were clear and in good color and detail for each step. The overall design was on-point for a match to the real Colosseum. It is tedious, but not a technical/complex architectural build. We completed the build in about a week with the kids honestly working on it more than the adults. Also, since this is so big I didn't have an unused table that I wanted taken up with the build, so I used an oversized cutting board (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TS8SSZ6) and it worked great, fit perfect, and it looks pretty good too.The part count and final footprint of this set is big for a lego-style set, but it really is hard to convey just how massive the real Colosseum is and this is a strong attempt to do it justice. I think it turned out fantastic and I really liked the smooth grey tiles that surround the structure, it really matches the original and I think it does a nice job of framing the set and making it pop.

Wasn’t expecting it to be so HUGE!!
I was absolutely shocked when I received this giant box in the mail, and even more so upon opening the box and realizing what was inside of it. Sure, I saw the price for this building set, but I assumed it was just REALLY detailed and that’s why it cost so much…wasn’t at all expecting it to be because the set is THE SIZE OF JUPITER…The pieces are high-quality and a decent size, and they snap easily and securely onto each other. While it’s easy enough to detach pieces that were wrongly placed, it’s not as easy to accidentally break apart sections that are already assembled since they are more sturdy. The pieces are all mostly a single color, which makes organizing them at first really easily, but can get a bit confusing further down the line. The included instruction book is clear and concise; quite easy to follow. This set is, overall, relatively easy to assemble, and it is tons of fun to do so, especially with how much detail is included in the building! The only con, in my eyes, is the outrageous price…but, considering the size, as well as comparing it next to brand name Legos, the price point makes a bit more sense, and the product is actually rather a good value for money for these reasons. This would make an awesome gift to history lovers/architects!
