I picked this up because my boss used one everyday. Word is, back in the day, all financial classes were learned with this calculator. I was skeptical, until I did some research. Reverse Polish Notation is the way to go! First: build quality - its a tank. A beautifully engineered block of plastic and aluminum. The buttons have a satisfying click of a Blackberry. Functionality: its an RPN calculator. There is no equal sign. It takes a bit to get used to, but its FAST. See ya later algebraic expressions! I’m not a CFA, but the functions are very helpful, especially if you are working on budgets, yearly, and monthly projections, or forecasting. I am in the HVAC business and performing ROI analysis on energy usage is easily done with this calculator. I would highly recommend this calculator, if nothing more as soon as you whip it out, people are going to ask “ how old is that thing?”
