Is it possible to use the panda pau0d ac1200 wireless usb adapter without the stand or antennas to make it more portable?

You can use it without the USB cradle. However, you need to use Panda PAU0D with the antennas. Otherwise, the received signal will be very weak and Panda can only connect to any network near it. Please send an email to support@pandawireless.com if you have any other questions.

Hi, would please confirm this adapter uses the mt7612u chipset?

My hardware specs states "Media Tek MT7612U". The adapter works flawlessly without drivers of any kind on, ubuntu-22.04.2-desktop-amd64 linuxmint-21.1-cinnamon-64bit ubuntu-mate-22.04.1-desktop-amd64 It also works without drivers on my, Windows 7, Windows 10 LTS.

Does this works with Windows 11?

does it support tails os

It looks like it would. Tails is based on Debian, and Debian supports that in the kernel driver. I also see (from the r/tails Reddit) that Tails supports earlier Panda wifi adapters.
