Maybe don't use the locking valve
Overall seems great, held air & didnt hear any leaks. Could spray it with soapy water to be sure but i just pressed on it, left it for a while, seems good. Love the wood look & design. I like the idea of a chill raft that can be paddled like a kayak & could be surfed on small waves (not gonna turn great but w/e). I was looking at shorter ones bc these are all pretty large but there was a used like new deal I couldn't pass up, &it's nice that I could have a friend chill on it with me. The wrench for locking the air valve was seated but I kind of had to press it down with one hand & turn with the other to keep it that way. It was very hard to turn. The instructions said counter clock wise which is what I did, & started with light pressure but it was not turning & the wrench slipped & broke. Not really a big deal to me, it seems very air tight without locking the valve down, & I plan on using it on calm waters close to shore. I'm confident it'll be fine with the plug over it. I like that it has the 2 small fins in case the large one gets broken or lost, you'll still have some tracking in the water, & they're rubbery not brittle so they can pack with it & not break. Good idea. The large fin is hard plastic/polymer. Mine came with the 2 patches but no glue so I'll have to research what to use or probably just get some good super glue. The pump worked great, you put the hose on the other side to deflate it. Good instructions besides my second picture which I found a bit confusing

Excellent board.
I recently purchased the JC-ATHLETICS Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board and have been extremely pleased with my purchase. This is my wife s first time owning a paddle board and she has been very impressed with the quality and ease of use of this product. The construction of the board is solid and durable. She has taken it out on calm lakes and even some rougher water and it has held up beautifully. The inflatable design also adds another level of stability and makes it easy to transport and store. What also impressed me about this paddle board is that it comes with everything you need to get started. The included paddle is adjustable and lightweight, making it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. The board also comes with a pump, repair kit, and a carrying bag. This made setting up and packing up a breeze, and I didn't have to worry about purchasing anything separately. Using the board is simple and straightforward. The non-slip deck pad provides great traction and I felt very stable while paddling. The board also tracks well in the water and I was able to maneuver easily. It's also nice that the board can be used for different activities such as yoga, fishing, or just leisurely paddling. One thing I really appreciate about this product is the size and weight. When deflated, it fits easily into the carrying bag and can be stored in a closet or car trunk. This makes it perfect for taking on trips or vacations. Plus, it can hold up to 330 lbs, so it's suitable for multiple people to use. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the JC-ATHLETICS Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board. It's a great value for the quality of the product and the included accessories. I highly recommend this paddle board to anyone looking for a fun and versatile way to enjoy the water.

Great paddle board, excellent value and many accessories
This is a real great paddle board at a really fair value. Inside the box you get a ton of accessories, you get a pump, fins, an adjustable paddle and a leash incase your behind a boat or a skidoo so that way you can ride without any real work. The anti-slip deck is great and gives you additional footing, for people who like high speeds don't have to worry about being flung right off. It's a very large board 10.5โ long, 32โ wide and 6'' thick, so this is something that can be used really interchangeably in a family, along with the adjustable length pole. It's very thick and well-constructed, meaning that you don't have to be prepared to replace it after your very first use! I think it's fair to say that this paddle board is set for beginner to experts, given all the things you can do with it. If you are wanting to relax and fish on your paddle board, or prepare a 3 course dinner on the lake this isn't the board for you, but if you want to cruise around with speed and minimal effort you won't be disappointed with this marvel of modern engineering.

More like a float you can paddle
For the $ I suppose it wonโt be beat. Just manage expectations. I am coming from a Perception hi-life (about 5x the cost), so that colors my evaluation. This board looks great, was easy enough to inflate (although the included pump is pretty brittle), and is nice & lightweight for throwing on top of a vehicle. I will likely leave it inflated all season & only top it up if necessary. Took it for first water test today with all 3 fins attached. It is a little less stable than the Perception (a hard SUP), but I got used to it fairly quickly. There was a slight breeze at the lake & that affected the board. It doesnโt have a hull per se, just those fins, so you do have to do a bit of extra maneuvering. As a 2nd, lightweight board this will do well. On flat conditions itโs fun & attractive to push around. I would say tho that you get the quality you pay for; this is not a boat, or a vessel. Itโs more like a float platform you can paddle. It is solid, attractive, but pretty limited. Hope this helps you in your decision making. Iโm not at all unhappy, it was a good purchase for the price and hopefully weโll be using it a fair amount this summer season. I just suggest you stick to fair weather uses with this one

Rating board
The board is gorgeous, stable and light weight. It replaced an older 11 ft inflatable built like a zodiac. The paddle is flimsy and rattles at its connections. The bag is very high quality. The pump works fine. I replaced the paddle with carbon, and am still at a price point I am happy with. Perfect size, stable, fun for beginners and seasoned boarders. I like it.

Pump Just Isn't Going To Do It
This is my first Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) and I am very pleased with the board. It's very solid when inflated, has d-rings for attachments, camera mount and bungee. I've taken it out in the ocean several times with no issues other than the driver. I can say that bicycle type pump would take all day to inflate. I have a a compact blower that plugs into my truck electrical outlet. Takes about 15-20 mins to fully inflate with that power but once inflated it is solid. There is a bike tire attachment that attaches to a hose allowing for a compressor or other blower like mine blow directly through the hose. Pros: Compact, when deflated folds up into a large backpack bag with room to spare Solid on the ocean with no flex at ~8 PSI, I'm 160lbs Paddle is adjustable D-ring attachment options all the way around Go-Pro type camera mount built in Bungee for securing shirt or water bag Big fin is removeable Is not hard to transport Cons: Air pump is a lot of work Time to inflate even with a powered blower is 15-20 mins. Deflate is a little quicker but time is precious.

Came with a big gash / hole in the side. Looked used upon unboxing. Very disappointed.
Was boxed up fine so I didnโt think to test before I got to the lake but upon unboxing it has a big 3/4th inch hole in the side and looked use (had dirt and rub marks on the side with the hole). Had to run into town to get glue because the patch kit it comes with does NOT come with glue or adhesive. Just a rubber patch. Patching it for this weekend but will be returning. Bought two of these, one is fine but the other was not. Returning. Buy with caution.

Great board
I wasn't sure what to expect as I needed a board that would arrive quickly when my other was delayed. A friend told me about this one and said she was happy with it so I purchased as it was set to arrive before my trip. I was very pleased with the quality. Pictured next to a much more expensive Gili board (they are the same height, the JC board is just sitting at more of an angle). The quality of the board was great, no leaks and felt great on the water! You wouldn't know it was inflatable once full. The pump is garbage but that's noted in other reviews, absolutely need to purchase an electric pump but I promise that will be well worth the investment over even the "best" hand pump. So I never planned to use that anyway. Paddle was definitely less sturdy than the Gili paddle but I never felt it was going to snap or actually bend, it's held up for 2 uses in extremely windy conditions. So is it the best paddle? No. But it'll work and doesn't ruin the experience. Board - 10/10. Awesome board. Pump - irrelevant Paddle - could be better but gets the job done. Overall super happy with the value of my purchase and actually glad that I picked this over something more expensive.
