I’ve been using this beard balm since 2018. I’ve tried probably 20 other beard balms, creams, or oils since then, and nothing else compares to Shea Moisture beard balm. It has a nice thick consistency that actually holds down any little hair sticking out from my beard. It allows me to easily style/shape my beard and provides nice shine and softness. It also smells naturally good, not an artificial smell. It is non-irritating to my skin under my beard, I don’t get breakouts under my beard from clogged pores. I’ve also been using Shea Moisture beard wash for just as long. I highly recommend.

I have a very long salt and pepper beard that hangs down to the middle of my chest. I apply this in my beard after my shower. It's has good hold and makes my beard super soft and no flyaways. Very happy with the balm and will continue to use it. The smell is nice and clean very pleasant.

I bought this for all the certificates and what not, seemed like a great alternative to other brands. I have tried a lot and I have to say, this is one of few that actually have some hold to the beard, however, it does feel greasy and actually due to the greasiness of the balm will cause some itchiness caused from the stickiness that comes with it. That said, I have mixed felling about this, even though it is decently priced due to the size, and it does give a fair hold, I am not sure i will buy it again once I am running out. Still deciding that, but I have tried so many others with lesser results for more money and I am tired of trying to look for "the one". So is this it, if I can live with the greasy feel? Maybe, definitely worth a try to find out if you can live with it or not, it does give you a smooth soft beard and it actually stays that way for a full day or two before reapplication.

It's winter and my full beard needed help. I did about a month research for the best products and yours was recommended by the Yuka App. for moisturizing Shea Butter. I use it everyday. Natural and healthy way to stay groomed. Feels great and takes about an half hour to sink in and condition. Smell is natural, manly and not over powering.
