The Advanced Elements kayak spray skirt is designed to help keep the bigger waves out and warmth in on cold days. It features adjustable shoulder straps and a coaming tension bungee for a snug fit onto your back. Good product, tricky fit

Good Spray Skirt
I bought this hoping it would fit my pelican and I guessed right.. it was a bit tight at first but got around it rather easily.

Perfect fit.

Kept me kayaking in the winter
I bought the spray skirt for my Advanced Elements inflatable kayak: the Dragonfly. I use it in the winter months when getting wet is just too cold for comfort. It kept me kayaking no matter what the weather. It fit around the inflated tubing edges and stayed put. It is heavy and durable. I'm looking forward to using it next winter. True, I live in NW Florida and I'm not talking about temperatures below freezing.

No matter how tight I tie the elasticated cord, the spray skirt comes off the coaming on the boat. Though I guess I would mostly blame it on the kayak design (Fusion Elite)

Staying dry
This is the first time I've ever had a skirt for kayaking so once I get it "down" I might rate this as a 5-star. It's a little difficult to get the cord perfect (but once done you know the proper tension) to make sure the seal around the cockpit is total secure (and make SURE the combing is inflated taunt or it will eventually jump out) but like anything else practice makes perfect. Still some runoff of the paddles gets some water on you BUT anticipated that prior to purchase. If you REALLY want to say totally dry then it's this plus a rain suit. Overall totally satisfied, just have to know what you're doing after practice runs.

Gets the job done, but it should be better for the price.
It works, and the shoulder straps make this the better option from Advanced Elements. The material was extremely stiff to start, and I was worried that the drawstring was going to snap when I tried to tighten it. Eventually I made it work. It could be higher quality for the price.
