Multi Step - Adjustable Tailgate Step (5" drop)

Purchased the 5 inch drop for my 2017 Ram Rebel, figured with the air suspension and all the 5 drop would be at the right height. As luck would have it, it was perfect. So, in a nutshell this product is just what I needed. Easy as walking up a stairs.mthe step is a perfect width and the construction is second to none.I chose this product over the other brand that tucks under the bumper because this I can remove when I want to and not have it hanging or rubbing against the exhaust.Overall very good product and works like a charm.

It's ok, but could use a few improvements. I have a Dodge 2500 so I had to use a reducing adapter to fit this into a class five hitch receiver, but fortunately I had an adapter on the shelf. The truck bed is high so the step is high, thus getting in and out of the truck bed is a bit tricky, as it is a big step up and step down. The ball is also too high to be useful with a trailer. A hand rail that attaches would make getting in and out of the truck less of a circus act... I get nervous especially using it to get out of the truck at such a height. And recently was told that leaving a ball hitch attached to the back of the truck in Pennsylvania is illegal, and that anything sticking past the bumper makes a person liable for "extra" damage to a vehicle that rear-ends the swing step on the truck. So a swing step that does not extend past the bumper, and does not have the ball on it would possibly be more legal in PA. .... Some things to think about before you purchase.

awesome product!!!!!!!!!!!where has this been for the last 5 years of my life?felt a little spendy when I hit order, but has been worth every penny.I never write reviews( im to lazy) you will love this step.
