Works great for LMR240 cable
They fit well with LMR240 cable. I've installed numerous of these connectors, and I've found the quality to be good for the price.

Well made!
Perfect for repairing coax or making new cables. When installed correctly these exhibit very low loss and fit well. No issues with installation either. Pretty good for the money!

Good connector, hard to fit pin to RG316 core (but it can be done)
These are good connectors, but the hole in the back of the center pin for soldering to the coax core is just a little too small for the Eightwood RG316 coax. It's a tight fit and you can get it to work, but it is nowhere near as smooth assembly as the Eightwood SMA Female connectors.

Good connections with good crimper.
you get good connections if you use the right crimper and measure stripping distances correctly. Low VSWR up to 1 GHz possible.

Worked for putting new ends on antennas
Worked perfectly for putting new ends on antennas. They were definitely designed for a thinner cable though. Needed to solder the shielding to the crimp ferruel instead of having the ferruel over the shielding and use larger heat shrink wrap.

These were not hard to instlall, and my signal is better than it has ever been.
I thought these were going to be very difficult to solder on to coax cable, but they really were not. My VHF radio had been installed by a radio shop, and never really got out very well. I purchased what seemed to be inexpensive 90 degree terminations for the cable. My signal is better than it has every been. I am extremely happy with my very reasonably priced cable terminations. You DO need a decent soldering iron, not a gun, and not a torch. So long as you have that, installing should be a snap.

Great Product - Instructions Would make better
The product is wonderful, but this was my first time using these. Including instructions on use would be amazing. I was under the impression that crimping was required for the cores onto the wire, as larger coax cables require that. It seems that was unnecessary, and based on wire strip lengths the core will fit onto the wire as required. I unfortunately used 9/10 cores for only 2 fittings as I was learning. It would be great if more cores could be included, or we could by the cores separately to replenish for mistakes. I still have 8 good fittings but only 1 core. Will definitely buy again, but I hope that you also make the cores an options also.
