No problems at all with this android mega implementation. It worked properly the first time and still works great in my project.

My item did not come with the Arduino bootloader pre-installed. Therefore, Arduino sketches would not upload to it. Fixed by using another Arduino as an ISP to burn the bootloader. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this online. After that it's a great design- make the mega smaller and cheaper for embedded projects.

I contacted RobotDyn for an exchange, this Item is very unstable and is completly unusable. I wanted to exchange incase I recieved a defective board. I have other Robotdyn products, the Mega 2560 Pro w/Usb- is broken. Serial Ttyl only worked 2 times. RobotDyn, Nano's and Sdcard Modules work great.

As with the other module (the one without the USB port), the pin spacing isn't quite right to line up with a common perf board. Unfortunately this makes it difficult to use these for prototyping -- and if you're designing a custom board for manufacturing I'm not sure why you'd use one of these modules instead of integrating the MCU directly -- so ultimately I don't know who the target customer is for these.

Fits perfectly on 0.1" perfboard.
