Great fit
Great fit for my older kitchen light. It not a overpowering like like florescent lights can be, easy on the eyes.

I had to return the product because the receptacle for the four-pronged plug is not recessed enough for the height of the plug.

Will not work for a FHD40EL
Bulb was junk. To thin. Broke installing. Not a good fit ! Not a good swap for FHD40 EL !

Great replacement, "Cool White" in color, not "Warm White" Perfect Fit
The bulbs give off a lot of light and fit perfectly in my ceiling fan. The light is a bright white or "cool white" (4100K) not yellow "warm white". If your looking for "warm" color bulb this is not the bulb for you, look for a 2700K or the 3000K bulb listed above. Note: this bulb is not a Daylight bulb either and has no blue tint to it, just pure white.I had no trouble installing this bulb into the fixture below my ceiling fan, it was exactly the same size as the one it replaced.

Delivered very quickly
I bought this bulb from these folks numerous times over the years. It goes on my kitchen ceiling fan, which is a pain in the butt that requires me to take it apart to change. Therefore its good that it lasts a few years. Also not readily available from local retailers, so this saves me a lot of running around.

This bulb lasted six months before I had to replace. For the steep price I expected better value. Avoid

Did not work.
It was a bit smaller - and I knew that. Installed it on a ceiling fan and let it hang a bit. Well guess what? it burned out after a week. Bought another one and it did the exact same thing - this time I did not let it hang and figured out a way to fit it in the metal brackets. It burnt out again. Garbage.

Be gentle when installing
I pushed a bit too hard to get it into the light clips and it exploded, so be gentle and careful when installing.
