These capsules are one a day and contain the now a third recommendation of areds. I cannot quote direct scientific evidence but the meso- zeaxanthin is included. I am just an ordinary lady terrified every six months as I am getting as i get monitored for the advance of macular degeneration that has been the case for nearly two years. I have taken maccuboost and laterly this product and today at examination no further increase. At the reduced price I am going to buy a few packs. Bonus is 1 capsule per day that contains the three areds. I would say do your research and give them a try.

Had these on regular subscribe and save basis for ages now. Touch wood... my macula degeneration at the moment is stable

I don’t know if these do anything - certainly not noticeable so far. I’ve progressed onto the gold, even more expensive, version. They do seem overpriced. Why is it a dose of 3 tablets a day? They aren’t large capsules. I suspect it’s a poor attempt to make you feel like you’re getting better value for money. Why don’t they just put the nutrients in one tablet? I’m also cynical about a company that feels it’s okay to have 3 tiers of tablets when you could just make the ‘good’ ones. Poor people are relegated to less effective versions. Why bother making regular, plus and gold?

I purchased this supplement at the request of my ophthalmologist. After watching my grandmother go blind from macular degeneration, I knew I wanted to do everything I could to prevent the same thing from happening to me. The doctor's office sells something similar loaded with extra stuff that I already take in my daily vitamin and for a much higher price. I settled on this one because it has the same amount of the 3 proteins and less of the added stuff. I have it on subscription so I save money and never run out. There is no taste, it's easy to swallow since it's small, and doesn't turn your pee and alarming shade of orange. I've only been on it gor 3 months so I can't verify how well it works but that will come I'm sure.

Ingredients comparable to more expensive brands and only 2 capsules per day. Have been using for several years. Pill is on the larger size, but no trouble swallowing

Best supplement to support eye health and slow down progression of macular degeneration. Only 1 tab a day vs. the other popular supplement dosage is twice a day. (am/pm) Couldn’t remember the pm dose.
