Written From Life Experiences
Growing up during the same time as the Cobbs, I can identify with many of their viewpoints and perspective. There are barriers to human interaction; Earl and Charlotte identify and address them. This would be an excellent text for high school and middle school teachers to use in a variety of classes.Excellent book!

A fresh new look on the "why's" needed to become a better person.
The authors help the reader think about "why" some of us may have become more of a "me" person during a periods of unrest and uncertainty of the last few years. The authors have concentrated their work on an assessment and approach that could lead us to more involvement in an effort to make each of us more involved with one another. There are many other books that talk about "what" happened that made us the me-generation. This new book addresses the why's of those changes and helpful actions to take to bring us back together, a notion that few books have addressed.

Great book
“I read the book and I am very much in agreement with much or all of the points. In fact, these topics have dominated my thoughts for the past 4 or 5 years. I had hoped it was just a bad dream, but I guess it’s real.”
