Important to know
First in importance is to note that this outlet strip does NOT have built-in surge protection and that is exactly why I chose it over several other similar ones from other companies. Why?My use for it is to clamp to my stereo cabinet to reduce cable clutter and to make it easier to reach certain plugs. A side benefit is with everything in the cabinet plugged into one outlet strip that’s clamped to the actual cabinet I only have to unplug one cord to move the entire cabinet for cleaning under and behind it.So, if I’m plugging expensive electronic components into it why wouldn’t I want a surge protector? Because you should NEVER plug one surge protector into another surge protector and my intent is to plug this clamp-on one into a high power high quality surge protector. The idea of a clamp-on power strip is brilliant. This one isn’t from a major brand name but it’s the only one of this style that doesn’t have built-in surge protection. It is plastic but well made and the outlets are well spaced to use power adapter transformers, plus the outlets are oriented so that oddly shaped plugs don’t interfere with each other, you’d be surprised how many companies get this wrong. A bonus is that they include two USB powered ports which is perfect for my home entertainment accessories like Bluetooth adapters that are powered by USB.HINTMass-produced things aren’t perfect and there is always a chance for a defect. That doesn’t mean the product or the brand is bad. Before I trust any power strip I perform this simple test. I plug in a small inexpensive continuity tester Sperry Instruments GFI6302 GFCI Outlet / Receptacle Tester, Standard 120V AC Outlets to each receptacle and wiggle it. If the test lights don’t flicker I know the wiring inside the strip is secure. If there is any flicker I know there may be a loose wire and I return the product for replacement. By the way, I have only once ever found an outlet box to be defective, the chances are pretty rare.Although this isn’t a major brand name it is well made and a good value. I like it.

Slightly flaws but still very useful
It's very sturdy and for the most part does everything it needs to, but the USB ports, despite charging at 2A, are a little cheap and flimsy and overall bring down the quality of a product that is otherwise solid and without any substantial issues.

Easy Reach Power
I have this clamped to the edge of a counter and it's fantastic. It's perfectly positioned at my work table to plug in various tools as needed. It's really changed how motivated I am to do certain tasks because I don't have to crawl under the table to plug stuff in anymore.

Incognito Convenience
I love it. It's larger than expected but it fits on a table kinda incognito and give you all the plug Ins that you need!

Works as described.
It lived up to its description. It is charging Amazon and HP devices as I write this. Easy to install and takes up little space.
