Solid Build Quality, Sleek Design - Highly Recommended
This case was for my first Raspberry Pi (Pi 3), and I was very impressed. The port cut-outs aligned perfectly and the metal housing is very sturdy. Once the cover is on, the whole thing feels nice and solid, which is important to me because I plan to have it with me on-the-go. Both heat sinks applied easily, and are the correct fit for their respective chips, though according to some, they aren't really needed if you're not overclocking the Pi; regardless, they are nice, and I'm glad they were included. I also really like the color (I got the red - raspberry? - colored one). I purchased this to build a fun little on-the-go RetroPie gaming console. It's fun to pull a game console out of your pocket. The ONLY use-case I wouldn't recommend this for is one that plans on taking out and putting in the SD card a lot in a Pi 3 - as others have reported in other reviews, there's really no easy way to take the SD card out from this case since Raspberry Pi changed the SD card slot to the push/pull model from the old push/push model. You must use a tweezers or open the case to remove the card. This isn't an issue in most (well, my) use-cases, and my guess is that most people that would buy a Pi already know how to add/remove files via SSH/FTP/SMB anyway.

Very sleek, great quality!
I typically don't write reviews, but I was very impressed with this case. I got it for my Raspberry Pi 3. I have gone though a few cases on numerous different Pi's. Most feel very cheap, or feel very DIY. This case really stands out from the rest. It is solid with all pieces being metal. All the parts fit snugly together. There are no sharp edges or parts that stick out. The design is really sleek as well. The package came with optional heat sinks and a screw driver. Everything needed to assemble the unit. I am using it for a pi-hole ad-blocker setup along with an openVPN server. It looks very professional and goes well along side my other network equipment. I am planning on buying another one of these cases to go with a Volumio music box next.

Great case, fan slightly noisey in a quiet environment
I have one of the Eleduino cases without the fan and recently purchased this for another Pi in use at my office. The Eleduino cases are solidly made and definitely provide very good protection for the Raspberry Pi. The difference between this new one and my slightly older one is the presence of the fan. The rest of the mechanical aspects are identical. Once this new case with the fan was assembled, it definitely kept the Pi cooler than the other case, but I found the fan noise was enough to be noticeable and slightly annoying in my quiet office. I moved this particular unit into the lab area where there are other fans and works perfectly. So this comes down to a choice... is you don't mind a little noise from a small fan, then this case is definitely for you. It keeps the Pi cool and provides very good mechanical protection. If you want a quieter unit and are willing to let the Pi run a bit hotter, then get the Eleduino case without the fan. Either case is very good. Easy to assemble, tough mechanical design, and definitely cool looking. The two I bought were very good investments.

Sturdy, Esthetically Pleasing Raspberry PI Case!
I was looking for a nice case for making a RasPi3 media center "appliance" server. Basically, a Plex Media Server, home shared drive, ambient light driver for our 60" HDTV and slapped a 4TB WD USB3 drive on it for storage. While most of the case offerings out there fall into the "minimalist" cheap-o bin, geeky-maker fare, or artsy-expensive, this case strikes the nice balance if affordable, well-made, and pleasing to the eye. The whole case is two extruded aluminum interlocking shells, two CNC'd aluminum end-plates, and 8 M2.5 flathead machine screws to hold it all together. They're even champs about providing decent little tape-on heat sinks for the RPi3's CPU and GPU. With my stock RPi3 board all ports lined up perfectly with the end plate pieces' holes and slots and they even include a slot in the side of the case for running a ribbon cable off of the I/O expansion header so you could side-car an expansion sled. Don't think it's deep enough for a large-stack full-header sled, but there appears to be enough internal room for adding a low profile board (e.g. An infrared I/O board for making this work as a universal remote IR blaster). So, all and all, I bought it for its looks and solid construction and will definitely be considering it for future projects including a 3D Printer monitoring/queue server, retroPi, and home automation appliance server. For ~$60USD you can get this case, a board, a 16GB micro-SD card, and a micro-USB power source and in less than 15minutres have a powerful little server ready to roll.

Excellent case
This is an excellent case, and well worth a few extra bucks. I like metal cases for my PIs, and so far I haven't experienced a significant degradation in wifi or bluetooth performance from the PI because of shielding from it. The case fits together well, and I like having the little extra touches like the adhesive label for the top of the case, feet for the bottom, silk screened labels for ports, a screwdriver, and of course the internal fan. They even included one extra of each type of screw and nut, just in case you lost one! Just a quick word of advice - don't expect a processor heat sink to work with this case, as the fan ends up only millimeters above the processor after it is installed and the case put together. If I had just a very small niggle about this case - the top can come off when the PI is installed, but only after the end covers are removed. That means taking out 8 screws instead of 4. Not a huge deal, really.

Not bad, fan is noisier that I was expecting (video included)
Let me start out by saying that I wanted a case that had a fan so that i could overclock my Raspberry pi 3. I saw this one and I liked the fact that it was an aluminum case that offered a little more protection than the standard plastic case, and that it had a fan! I had already ordered and installed 2 aluminum heatsinks, one on my GPU and the other on my CPU. Once I received the case I was happy with the build quality of the case, however, the threaded holes that the sidewall screws went into weren't full circles. Every hole had a gap in it giving it a crescent moon shape, which made me nervous of the stability of the case once assembled. I did have some trouble getting the sides on and found it best to install the side with the USB ports first (after the top and bottom were together). Another thing that I had to find on my own was the correct set of pins to use for the fan (this is pretty simple with a Google search). After everything was assembled I started it up and noticed that I couldn't hear the fan running, that's a plus right? Well it turns out that the fan was wedged against the heatsink for the CPU (the large one) and wouldn't rotate. I had to file the heatsink down to about 4mm tall so that it would clear the fan blades once assembled. Also, as a side note, most heatsinks that are sold on here come with 3M tape, do youselves a favor and remove the tape, clean it with alcohol and apply some thermal paste. The tape acts as an insulator, not a conductor. I finally got everything together and working and it does a great job of cooling my pi down, but the fan is noisy. I could get by with the sound of the air moving, but there is an electrical hum that is really annoying. I was hoping for an easy, silent, long lasting case, but it seems like itโs just one thing after another. I would give it 4-5 stars if the fan was quieter, if you watch the video you'll understand. I took it with my phone, and it's close to the pi, believe me, you can still hear it from 5 feet away. Overall I would say that the case itself is good, my only real complaint is with the fan. After all itโs the reason that I bought this case. Sorry for the horrible quality of the video, apparently it lost quality after being uploaded and transferred from google drive.

Best Raspberry Pi Case I've used, but some room for improvement
This is without a doubt the best Raspberry Pi case I have ever used. I've purchased 30 for my job from various vendors. They are sturdy and easy to assemble. The case is very good at dispersing heat. The fan is quiet. It comes packaged with extra screws in case you drop one. There is some room for improvement. The bolts for the fan seem like they might fall lose over time. I recommend adding some glue or locktite. This should include more heat sinks. I supplement buy adding one to the bottom of the Raspberry Pi. Quality Control Issues 5 of 30 units 1 defective screw mount (4 black cases, 1 red) 1 of 30 units had two front plates instead of a front and back plate. 7 of 30 units defective screw driver (usable) 2 of 30 units. defective screw driver (unusable)

Very nice little case but may have some fan clearance issues!
I really like this Case. It makes your project feel like a quality commercial product rather than a tinkerers project. The case adds some decent weight to the Pi, but nothing that should cause any problems support wise. I bought the black version with the built in cooling fan. The fan is fairly quiet but does not move much air. Though, it seems to be enough to compensate for the closed off design of this case. Two caveats concerning the fan version of this case: 1.) I have several Raspberry Pi 3 boards from different vendors. The heat sink height varies from vendor to vendor, The CanaKit heat sinks have been the only size that will fit this case without interfering with the fan. I have pis from LoveRPi that are too tall to fit under the fan. Other vendor heat sinks may work but i have not tested. 2.) One other caveat is that ANY heat sink (even CanaKit) on the RaspberryPi 3 B+ will interfere due to the added height of the Integrated Heat Spreader. If you don't have the Eleduino case with the fan you should have no issues with clearance on any of the RPi 2B,3B, or 3B+ boards.

Nice quality, easy to put together
Nice quality, easy to put together. There is just enough place inside to put a power switch if you want. Looks good.

Great!
Very nicely build raspberry pi skin! Build quality is top notch! It's very easy to access all the ports and swapping microsd cards without much issue. A lot of thought went into the case! Another bonus of adding a couple extra screws (easy to lose as they are small) was a nice touch.

Good fit and pretty straight forward
I got this case for my Raspberry Pi 3 model B. The case is pretty sturdy. The thickness of the faces doesn't flex easily. The assembly instructions are pretty clear except for which way to mount the fan. The only indication of the correct way is the picture found on this website. The blades of the fan must face up when fully assembled (i.e. when bolting the fan to the top face, point the fan blades TOWARDS the face). Also, the face with the ethernet and USB ports was a bit hard to fit in place. I had to push the ports out of the way a little bit to push the face into place. I didn't put the top sticker on because it looks like the ventilation holes on the sticker are too small for the opening in the case. The fan makes a little noise but not enough to be bothersome. Despite all these issues, I'd buy another one if the time comes.

case of Raspberry Pi
Awesome case, very well build goes together cleanly, the rubber feet give it some grip when placed anywhere. and the red color is a nice option.
