Immediately disappointed. As soon as I took it out of the box, it almost fell apart. The screws holding the handled sides were not even remotely tightened. When I touched the bottom, it felt like I was going to put my finger through it. I'm almost certain that balsa wood has a higher density than this. While the overall shape / aesthetics are appealing ... I wouldn't trust setting a cup of coffee (EMPTY) on this, much less anything else. Hate to do it, but it's going back.

I ordered this because my husband started letting my son eat breakfast occasionally on the couch. I completely support this, however we've had a few spilled milks and whatnot. This tray looks nice in our kitchen and it works great for these destination breakfasts.The only bummer is my husband started using it for a table center piece which looks really lovely, however, I have to deconstruct it every time our kid wants to eat cereal on the couch with Saturday morning cartoons. Not terrible; just means I will probably have to order another one.The only thing I'd be aware of is that the bottom is kind of thin. If you tap it, it makes a loose rattling sound like it's slid into place but not glued together. The bottom is secure, this flaw was just an annoying cost or time saving decision by the manufacturer. I hope this review is helpful!

I didn't look at the dimensions before making this purchase, and it was a little smaller than I had expected, but it is a good quality, especially for the price, it looks very nice, and it serves its purpose. Now that I've used it, I think I might prefer the fact that it's on the smaller side. it's easier to manage with one hand and fits nicely in my lap when snacking on the couch.

I ordered this Kyraton serving tray to use for eating while watching television. I find it well-suited for that purpose. It is well-made of wood, with the ends attached at a slant. I think that is meant to make it more attractive, which it does. The size is a little smaller than I would like but large enough to hold a small plat, glass or cup, and silverware. I wipe it clean with a damp cloth. I would not encourage one to try and scrub it. That would likely ruin the surface.

I was pleased to try this 'Kyraton Wood Serving Tray for Food Serving with Handles, Decorative Perfume Coffee Tea Table Living Room Wooden Kitchen Trays for Eating, Food Tray For Party Breakfast Kitchen Dinner'.1. The tray looks good - it is a darkish brown colour, with grain patterns of a mid brown.2. Looking closely at it, the angled edges look like wood but I am not sure that the base is natural wood. It looks, to me, as if it has had a wood grain printed on it. It has been well done though.3. It is a good size, with the inside area being 35cm x 28cm. The side edges are about 3cm tall and the ends with the handles are 4.5cm at the middle.4. The tray has been well constructed, with the sides attached to the angled ends, with 4 brass coloured screws. These screws are on display - they have not been covered by a wooden dowel cover.5. According to the Amazon product page, you can clean with a wipe of a damp cloth.6. I am going to be using this for a specific purpose - I do a lot of crafting, especially for my large dolls house and wanted a tray with a nice edge. I can now use it on my lap, without small pieces rolling off and a great flat area to work on.7. The current price of £15.99 is a little expensive, in my opinion.

These two trays are a deep rich green colour (well, ours are - there is also a red option) and when I saw the product photos I thought that they looked very nice. When I opened the box I was a little less impressed. The trays are rather obviously plastic with no disguising texture but rather a fluted effect around the edges. In the box there were two gold stags heads which looked even more 'plasticky' and I was, again, left underwhelmed. However, when I popped on the stags heads (on the trays, not me!) and placed the trays on a table... I had a change of heart.I still think that the trays look a little too obviously plastic-made, but it is a good thick and rigid material and from a slight distance even the stags heads look okay. I guess one has to keep in mind that the trays only cost £15 for the pair. Maybe I am being a tad harsh.The trays have a decently deep rim and so anything placed upon them would have quite a fight to slide off - in fact it would be nigh on impossible. The fairly deep sides make these trays great for serving but maybe less usable as trays to 'eat off' on a lap. If the stags heads are not required you can leave them off and the holes that are left do not show up very much (I think that the holes would be more obvious on the red version of the trays, but the green is dark enough for the holes to be less obvious).I think that the shape of the trays is delightful with the cut-off corners and the generous handle slots are perfect.Overall these trays are good value, but look better from a slight distance where the shiny plastic build and gold plastic stags heads look better if not overly scrutinised. We will probably use them more for outdoor eats in the garden... and then they will look very posh indeed!
