Hello, Usually, the high frequency wand is used without a gauze. If the skin is very sensitive, use a gauze, but the gauze mask should be dry without any liquid on it. The ones that come with our high frequency are a Cotton Compressed Facial Mask, a Gift from us- they are used more for the face mask.
