The neck flap can easily be folded up into the underside of the hat when not needed. Fits well, not hot to wear in the sun.

This is a magnificent sun protective hat! My husband uses it daily in full sun and loves the sun protection.

Comfortable hat. The sides were great for blocking the cold wind on top of Mount Marcy, plus I felt like my neck, ears, and side of face were protected from the sun. I applied an extra coat of Nikwax waterproofing, so my head stayed dry in the rain. Plus, even after wearing it four days on a muddy hike it had not picked up dirt. Some.downsides: the bill should be longer and wider and have a black underside to cut glare, and the dome could be a bit deeper so when you stuff the cape up in you don't feel like the hat is sitting so high on your head that it will blow off.

The hat fit well and provided excellent sun protection while trekking througn the Amazon Rain Forest. The hat can be tightened so it does not blow off while white water rafting. The flaps fold up easily and can be tucked in the hat and worn as a regular cap. I’m very happy with the product.

Neck covering is a little too short, should have been an inch longer. I wear this over my over-the-ear hearing protection and it can't really fit with it on. My hat fits fine, but not this, because it can't expand.

The microfiber neck flap is a little too lightweight for my liking, but overall it’s a good product.

GOOD FIT, NICE, LIGHT WEIGHT, BUT STRONG MATERIAL. WOULD BUY AGAIN, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND. COMPLETELY SATISFIED.
