good item to have in case of a serious injury
These tourniquets appear to be well made and are modestly priced. They come sealed in heavy duty plastic bags (one per bag) so they will stay clean until needed (which is hopefully never). Note that you really should have training on how to properly use a tourniquet; proper use is not as obvious as it seems. Not all first aid classes teach the use of this item.

Simple appliance mandatory for every aid kit
Close to military-type medical aid and very simple to understand how to use and to apply. Hope I don't ever need to review how well it works ... . Great peace of mind knowing these are in my aid kit.

Good quality, good price
I have 3 small trauma kits and 1 large range kit. All have this style of tourn iquet except the one I was issued that has the metal rod. I prefer these. Good quality, good price.
