The Do-Over (The Miles High Club) Review: Billionaire Turned Backpacker: A Story of Love and Self Discovery - This is a beautiful story about love, self-discovery, and the power of compromise. Be prepared to fall in love, laugh out loud, and maybe even shed a tear as the youngest Miles brother is stripped of his comfort—and everything he thought defined him—only to discover the love of his life and what truly matters along the way. Rating: 4.75/5 Spice: 3/5 Tropes: 💰 Billionaire Romance 💞 Friends to Lovers ❤️🔥 Playboy / Womanizer Hero 🌍 Travel / Backpacking Trip 🔄 Transformation Arc ⚡ Opposites Attract I didn’t think I could love any book in this series nearly as much as The Casanova (the previous book in the series) —and while this one didn’t quite surpass it, it came incredibly close. This is such a beautiful story about love, self-discovery, and the power of compromise. It’s the kind of romance that feels like a journey in every sense of the word, both emotionally and literally. Hayden is the sweetest FMC—confident, a little wounded, endlessly capable, and guided by this nurturing, steady heart that makes her impossible not to love. She feels like the emotional anchor of the story. Christopher starts out as the ultimate spoiled, billionaire alpha: over-the-top, ridiculous, rude, and immature. His short fuse surprised me in this book, as that wasn't how I perceived his character in previous books, but his volatility makes his transformation all the more satisfying. Watching him adapt to a stripped-back, non-luxury life and slowly uncover who he really is—and what actually matters—was one of my favorite parts of the book. Beneath all that bravado is a genuinely beautiful soul. From the start, Hayden and Christopher just *work*. Their dynamic is so gratifying to watch as they move from friends, to something more, to the loves of each other’s lives. They balance each other in a way that feels natural and earned. Like the rest of the series, this book delivers on every emotional note: laugh-out-loud moments, swoony romance, and scenes that genuinely hurt in the best way. Christopher alone is a constant source of humor, and some of my favorite moments—the yacht scene (still one of the funniest things I’ve read in ages), “Binky Bear,” and Chris giving Eddie the hat and phone—are forever burned into my memory. One of my favorite parts of this book is how rich the world feels because of the side characters. It was so nice seeing the other brothers and their wives again—it adds this warm, lived-in continuity that makes the series even more special. Elizabeth Myers delivers yet another amazing cameo. And Eduardo—Eddie—absolutely shines. His character arc genuinely thrilled me, and he easily became one of the emotional standouts of the story. The other travelers—Basil, Kimberly, and Bernadette—round out the journey beautifully, each bringing their own charm and energy to the group. The climax hit hard. I felt both of their pain viscerally, and I appreciated how realistically the conflict was handled—Chris’s explosive reaction during the argument at the park followed by the growth it takes to step back and let Hayden go. If I had one tiny critique, it’s that I saw a few alternative solutions early on (ahem, Elliot’s London farm), which made the resolution slightly predictable. But honestly? It didn’t dull the emotional payoff or the euphoria of the ending in the slightest. I listened to a big portion of this on Audible and immediately ordered a physical copy because this is one of those books you want to experience again on the page. Beautifully done, and absolutely worth a reread. Review: The perfect destination romance! - “I’ve made a lot of bad decisions in my life, done things that I regret. But there is one thing in life that I do know for certain . . . I am utterly and irrevocably in love with the beautiful Christopher Miles. We were meant to meet.” Let me start by saying that I love this series and T L Swan’s writing. So when I heard about Christopher’s book, I couldn’t wait to read it. But after reading the book, I’ve struggled on how to rate this book because there were things that I really loved about this book and things that didn’t work for me. Maybe it’s a case of it’s just me and not the book. Overall I really enjoyed Christopher and Hayden’s story. I loved their funny banter and the sexual tension between them. I also loved that this story was set in some beautiful destinations. Not to mention, seeing Christopher try to search for himself and survive backpacking around Europe was entertaining and hilarious! On the other hand, the one thing that I had trouble with was Christopher’s behavior towards the second half of the book. I would’ve wished that he had more growth towards the end and constant push and pull between him and Hayden became a bit too much after a while. I also would’ve loved to have seen more of their relationship in the epilogue. For me, it just left me craving for more of their story. The one redeeming part that saved this book for me was the relationship between Christopher and Eddie. The moments between them were so adorable and heartwarming. Moreover, I was very happy to hear that the author announced that she would be releasing another book with extended epilogues for this series. And I can’t wait to see more of these characters!

The perfect destination romance!

LOL Funny, Sexy and Sweet. Friends to lovers.
What a way to end the series! I loved it SO much! Not only is it a love story, it’s a story about self discovery. Both Christoper and Hayden have to find themselves because unfortunately sometimes love isn’t enough. It’s hard learning that compromise isn’t the same as sacrifice. The Do-Over is the final book in the Miles High Series. It is laugh out loud funny. If you know TL’s books, you know they are emotionally gripping, have great banter and well… they are chalk full of steam. You get all that and more with The Do-Over. This book is a teeny departure from her usual recipe though because the LOL moments are many. I am A THOUSAND PERCENT there for it. Rom com should be your new game TL. You won me over (again…you already had me). The story itself fits who Christopher is, the funny rich entitled playboy. In real life, the dude had NO clue. And it shows. I love that he really had to learn the hard way. From vomit to hairy gorillas. Hayden is his opposite in every single way. She’s a hard working down to earth country girl with a big kind heart. She knows what she deserves and won’t settle for less. When Chris finally learns (with Haze’s help) that there’s more to relationships than just sex this man will own you. Listen he was always swoony and sweet, he just didn’t realize he was capable of more until Hayden….and Eddie. Oh and Mrs. Miles, she is a really good mom. Chris and Haze are definitely my second favorite couple of the series. Sorry guys but Tristan and Claire own my heart forever. Must read. There is still a ton of spice in this book. It will be hard for you to actually do anywork when you pick this up. So prepare yourself to be in for the ride from beginning to end. You have to get in on this series! They are on the longer side, but let me tell you… Every word is worth your time. You will fall in love with each couple, their love, their off the charts chemistry, their trials, and especially the camaraderie between brothers. Phenomenal! I can’t wait for the book of extended epilogues coming in Feb 2023!!

This book has it all. It made me laugh, I cried with it, I experienced ups and downs together with Christopher and Hayden... I like them both very much and TL Swan knew how to beautifully weave all the adventures, awkwardness and other characters into the story. Let's not forget about Eddie...I love this kid. Trying to find himself, Christopher goes backpacking for a year. But it's not as easy as it sounds :) . The spoiled gentleman almost gives up, but during fun adventures he meets new friends and a girl who will shake the ground under his feet. All of this opens Christopher up to a new view of the world and a different life. Hayden and Christopher return to reality after a year. Then comes the real test for them. Will they be able to combine their lives and find a compromise? Will love win? Read on. You will enjoy every page you read :)

Book 4 ✔️ I have never read a series and enjoyed them so much, laughed until I cried, cried through sad moments, cheered when either Jameson, Tristan, Elliot or Christopher got their heads screwed on right and saw what was right in front of them. Each story has been different and captivating. I can’t wait to read book 5 to round it off. Thank you T L Swan 👏🏻👏🏻

Quando pensei que não poderia gostar mais de um irmão do que do outro, eis que chega o Cris. Foi um gosto acompanhar a história dele com a Grumpy que lhe mostrou que se pode ser feliz com pouco.
