Decent smell, not obnoxious and no ticks all season
Used from May to October in Minnesota woods where ticks are quite prevalent and did not get any on me so I have to say this worked for me. To be fair I did use a very strong tick repellent on my shoes and lower pants leg as well as my jacket I wore during cooler temps. I used the Nantucket spray on my skin. I didn’t have any reaction to spray even though I have sensitive skin usually.

Good smell and protection
I bought this repellent and also the Murphy’s Naturals oil. When I read the reviews I had higher expectations of the Murphy’s but by the end of my trip in Costa Rica I used all the 3 bottles of this repellent and only one from Murphy’s. It smells so good that I even sprayed all over in the room before I went to sleep. It was a very good purchase!

Awesome Alternative to harsh chemicalx
We’ve been using this stuff for awhile and love it. I send it to camp with my kiddos and keep it in all cars and hiking packs. Smell is please t enough and it seems to get the job done.

Smells great but it doesn’t repel ticks. I would suggest using a repellent with Picardin as the active ingredient. I went for a hike with a friend that had Picardin on and I had this product on, a mile into the hike I saw about 50 nymph ticks on my legs, my friend had zero! I have Lyme and several other tick borne diseases that have caused me to be disabled from being able to work. Take it from me, use the chemicals to protect yourself. Whatever harmful effect that could potentially happen is not even close to the devastation of an incurable tick disease.
