Best Broom head in the industry... Worst handle in the industry
These broom heads are literally the best. They last long. They are stiff. They have support bars to help keep them rigid... the best. The handle on the other hand is a joke. Absolutely terrible. They are wood top and bottom. (3 piece construction) With a plastic tube "thing" in the center. they are supposed to "click" together. They don't last. They come apart. The plastic clip thing breaks and it comes apart in your hand. We have had drill a hole to nut & bolt it together to be able to use them as long as the head lasts. Trying to keep them around because they are not cheap. I believe they made the handle a 3 piece for ease of shipping. (I get it) but man they really are terrible. The broom head is great. We still own several that were purchased years ago. (When they still came with a solid wood handle) 2 stars for the broom head. -3 stars for the handle. Sorry... Just being honest

Poor quality handle
Seems to be a pretty well made broom beside the handle… The 3 piece handle is not very durable and is always loose. If I would’ve realized this before I purchased It I wouldn’t have bought it. For as expensive as it was I thought they could have done better…

Not as good as the original
3 part handle. Brush head is smaller. Brackets are thinner. Made in China. Overall quality is lower than the American Made version Handle is floppy Disappointing. On the plus side, the new head fit my old solid handle, and brackets! My advice is to buy the solid handle model (The depot has it for less $).

Poor quality control, no customer service. Broom unusable.
The broom requires some assembly including screwing the brackets into the head of the broom. Requires a wrench (not a screw driver), but one of the screw heads was perfectly round (pictured). Filled out the form to ask for a replacement, never got a response. So I'm off to the local hardware store 20 minutes away to buy a 25 cent part. Thanks Harper.

Wiggly handle
Should have listened to the other reviews. Handle wiggles to the point I can barely use it. Two pieces of wood held together by cheap plastic.

Horrible import copy
Been using Harper brooms in commercial construction for years, this is not the same broom. This has a flimsy 3 pc handle, smaller head & thin cheap brace. By the one made in Iowa! Besides, the cost is the same or less... Sending 3 back. Very disappointed Harper.

Junk handle, good broom head
The broom head is great. The handle is 3 pieces and is complete trash. After just 3 uses the handle is damaged where the wood meets the plastic connector. At this point I can’t recommend this product. If you can just buy the head do that and buy a real all wood handle that will last forever. The company is trying to save money and storage space by making this a 3 piece handle.

The handle snapped shortly after. I have had it and I may have used a few times.Well built broom,but certainly missing something.
