I like this light/fan. Installation was somewhat easy. Because of the fan it was difficult to see how to tighten the screws but you have to look through the fan itself to see the screws. But, it comes with everything you need to install.It comes with a remote to change the various light settings and brightness. To turn on the fan and set the speed. You can also set the time to turn off. 1 hour or 2 hours.It cannot be used with a dimmer. So, if you have a dimmer switch, you CAN use it, but it doesn't work well. I changed to a room without a dimmer and it worked better. The dimmer produced noise at the switch when it was on. The regular switch had no noise.One thing that I think should've been built in was memory. When you turn off the switch, all the settings you set with the remote are lost. You have to start from scratch. If the fan had some sort of memory that remembers all of the settings once the switch is turned off, it would be great. So, when you enter the room and flip the switch, it would remember the settings that were set.Other than that, it's a great light. I like it.

I am glad I hooked up the power and try it out first before going through all the trouble installing it! the minute I turn it on, I hear this loud scratching sound that the fan blade is clearly rubbing on the frame. It wasn't until then I noticed that the entire frame is distorted. Apparently it must've seen some rough handling either during packaging at factory or shipping, plus the frame material is pretty cheap and very easy to bent too. I am definitely going to return this one. But if you are buying one, make sure to check on this before installing.

Great good looking fan . It has a good air movement, my kitchen is much freasher and comfortable now. Also it is easy to install.

Installation wasn't difficult and both the light and the fan performed as advertised. You can use the existing wall switch to turn the unit on and off. When turned on with the wall switch the light comes on - pretty much as you'd expect a ceiling light to do. To turn on the fan, or adjust the light's brightness or color balance you have to use the remote. Turn the wall switch off and then on again, previous settings are lost and you need to set them again. But for the price I don't think this can be beat.

What a neat fan.! I needed a ceiling fan for the smaller bedroom and this fan fit the room perfectly. The whole combination of the light and fan speed settings do not disappoint. It gives off strong air at any level setting, and the light changing mode setting is a treat. I’m pleased with my purchase. Thanks

Bought three of these over 1 year ago. One appears to have an issue with the controller with error tones and flashing lights. It has been disconnected and is currently out of service. Can the controller be replaced?
