eTherm Infrared Ear & Forehead Thermometer

I work in a preschool classroom. I purchased this for our classroom because management would not buy us another one. It gets Used daily multiple times. Easy to use and easy to sanitize in between uses. Seems accurate

For the price, this product is great. Good accuracy and simple to use. Exactly what I was needing. I bought 2 other brands before this one and both where pretty pricey in my opinion. One just stopped working within a couple days and the other was nowhere near accurate so I'm very satisfied with this product. It may be cheaper but it seems like a good quality product and I would definitely purchase again.

Comes with batteries, easy to use & accurate temp reading

The temperature isn't very accurate, because you can take your temperature in the same spot twice, and it may vary by a degree or more. For the price, it gives you an idea that you have a fever, though, which is pretty important. My family recently got hit by Covid, and when I took their temps, it definitely showed they had a fever when they felt warm. What I did was take the temps twice and then average them out. I also find that the best and most accurate way to take your temperature with these is not the forehead or the ear, but under the armpit. The other methods will give you a lower temp that won't show a fever if you have one.

I very much like this thermometer. It gives a reading quite quickly and can be used on one's forehead or ear. It's easy to read and comfortable to use. I got a second to give my daughter because I liked it so much!

I bought this, turned it on upon arrival to make sure it worked -- it did, then I stored it in a cabinet. When I went to take my granddaughter's temperature a month or so later it would not turn on. I thought maybe the batteries died, even though they were new and the thermometer hadn't been used so I went to change them only to find the battery compartment completely corroded. The only batteries that had ever been in the thermometer were the ones that came with it. Changing them despite the corrosion made no difference, the entire compartment was crusted over. Disappointed and now needing to shop for another new thermometer.
