Great/Quiet Fan
This fan works great as its quiet and can confirmed its compatible for lga1700 msi motherboards. I bought this for my i7-12700kf cpu as a replacement for my old stock intel i7 stock cpu fan and works like a charm. It was hard to find the right size and a strong fan for the cpu mentioned earlier; would recommend as it was easy to install since it has push pins instead of screws. It also has the thermal paste applied on the fan already so be careful when installing as it has no extra thermal paste on the side.

Good CPU fan
This fan works great! It is installed on Asus Tuf gaming z790 plus mother board over an Intel 12700k! No over heating issues. I didn’t like any of the bulky CPU cooling heat sinks. It was hard to press in to lock to the MB. Make sure you’re pushing from the other side while installing so you don’t potentially crack your MB. Does need some improvements on that. The fan has good contact with the factory installed CPU paste after installation.

thanks i hate it
Maybe it's just user error, but i have installed AIOs and tower coolers just fine, yet THIS cooler always was the most difficult to install by far and always caused me the most problems. Why? Rather than screws it has these push pins which you need to perfectly distribute the pressure on all four of them simulateously or else when you push the fourth one in then another will pop out. Even if you spend ages trying to get it just right, the pins don't grip very tightly, if you pick up the PC and set it down, the slight bump from it touching the ground is sometimes enough to slightly knock the cooler loose causing the PC to overheat and shut off when you turn it on. If you need a cheap fan cooler for a lower-end CPU, get one that screws into a back plate and not this garbage!

You get what you pay for (i. e. frustration likely)
Putting five stars for assumed performance as this CPU cooler can't possibly be as loud and annoying and inefficient as the Intel RM1 cooler that comes with all non K SKU Intel chips.Came packed nice and looks to be built well with a massive heatsink. However it does look to have those utterly stupid mounting lugs that click down and in. Beware of those, I would avoid this cooler simply because of that (knocked 2 stars because it would likely be a massive issue for me had I kept it), they break easily on the Intel coolers.I wouldn't touch this thing with a ten foot pole or any other single fan cooler like this unless you're running:1. A low wattage CPU (65 watts or under)2. Have plenty of airflow and no GPU in the build)3. If you don't care about fighting push down locking lugs4. If you don't care the thing will likely yowl anyway because despite this (probably) having a better motor and fan than the RM1 it's still going to make a ruckus no doubt.

Quiet and great value
On my third basic build using these fans. They have always been reliable, easy to plug in and quiet.
