Great
Great basement window. Replaced the old awning style steel framed/1/4" thk glass windows that were embedded into the concrete from 1950s. I needed to chisel/pry old frame out but wasn't that bad. These windows are excellent for the price and are efficient if installed properly. Be sure to use spray foam specifically for windows and doors due to expansion rate. You do not want to use a high expanding spray foam. Throughly caulk inside and outside joint and you'll be happy. I needed a hammer drill for my application along with plenty of plastic shims for leveling. It's been over 2 years, four installed with mid 90s in summer/ low teens in winter and has been great no leaks ๐. Weep slots always go at the bottom of the sill** Updated with 4in dryer exhaust vent retrofit. I removed the slider and set aside as spare. Used prefinished white 1/16 alum sheet (azm/HD) with #7x1/2" hwh screws. Careful not to puncture anything beside the rpvc frame. Did this outside and inside and sandwiched tightly fit insulation board in cavity between both alum sheets. Be sure to use plenty of silicone around the dryer vent components, the perimeter of the alum sheet to frame and all fastener heads. At the very end of installation I applied privacy film as these are on ground level. Still let's in great light. 2024 update: it's been 4yrs having these windows and everything has been great and performing as expected. No breach in the perimeter glazing seals (no condensation, fogging, streaking etc.) Solid product and well made!

Glass is clear.
Bought for replacement in a small bathroom. Glass looked frosted in photo. Should have read reviews but it had a high enough rating & I was more concerned with sizing - hard to find size. Should state that glass is clear though. Window looks good, works perfectly, great price when compared to anywhere else - believe me, I looked. Easy install.

Easy install. Good quality.
Installed 3 of these windows. I replaced 70's aluminum windows in a cinder block wall. These look much nicer and hopefully insulate better. Install took about 1-1.5hrs each. We did have to remove the fins on all sides, but it still worked fine. Slides and locks well. Overall very satisfied.

Perfect for replacing our basement windows!
Our windows in our basement were in desperate need of replacing. Our house is not new and our basement is just concrete walls/floor. The old windows were the aluminum frame style. I was able to leave the metal frame surrounding the concrete opening, all I had to do was remove the plastic spacers underneath the screws in the new windows. I put them in, pre-drilled the holes for the screws and screwed them in with concrete anchor screws. Then I used door/window expanding foam to fill the gaps and afterwards, I sealed the windows with window caulk/sealant. These windows do a great job of keeping out the cold/heat. They open, close, and lock with ease. They look great and we have two more windows in the basement we will be replacing with this same style. I recommend the following tools if you have a similar job to mine: 1/4" Concrete Anchor Screws 2 inches long, Door/Window expanding foam (the white stuff at Home Depot is best), Door/Window Sealant/caulk, and hammer drill, masonry drill bits, a good contractor's break-away knife/razor, and a razor blade for cleaning up anything that gets on the glass. The windows did not take much time to install.

Great replacement window
this window was exactly what i needed to replace my old window. it seems to be solid built and once installed the sound is blocked out well. it was easy to install. i would recommend washers on the install screws because the screws can go through the plastic casing. one cool feature is the drip tray if water gets on the inside window track there are drain holes to get the water outside. the screen window is easy to pop out. the window seems to be true to size.
