To the makers of this water filter. So far it has been awesome. I've traveled to several foreign cities as well as a few domestic ones (including Los Angeles where I've always thought the water had a bit of a fishy like taste) where the water is safe but had a unfavorable taste. Those far it has performed quite well. The water at work comes from God only knows how many year old pipes and you can most def tell. There was no soaking required and you don't need the power of a Hoover Vaccum Cleaner to suck out the water like some other filters make you do.This product has encouraged me to actually drink more water because of if I don't like the taste of water it becomes difficult for me to find it palatable. This is serving several goals of mine. To be more conscience of not using plastic products whilst traveling and to consume more water. Also, a HUGE bonus for me is that your company is local right in my back yard. I really try to support local business as much as possible. Thanks for making that happen. The only negative thing I have discovered is that the filter leaves a small swallow of water at the bottom because it doesn't reach. I imagine this is because there needs to be room for the water to come up through the filter but it is annoying. A small thing really. Otherwise great idea and great product. How long does this filter last (gallons etc) and is there a recommended method of cleaning it?

I travel regularly and get water from airport bottle fillers, the water doesn’t always taste great. This filter is amazing. It makes all water delicious and there’s less worry about poor hygiene with the bottle fillers using the filter. It’s a keeper!

First impression is decent. It is easy to put together. The filtration makese drinking water a bit slow but still reasonable flow rate. One draw back I found out is due to the height of the filter, the dead volume is pretty big. It is best suited for a tall and narrow water bottle.

When I bought this filter I mistakenly bought the filter for the 32 oz hydro flask instead of the 40 oz. The only difference between the two is the length of the straw. I only realized my mistake once the filter arrived. I emailed the company about my issue and they quickly replied and sent me a longer straw to match the size of my 40 oz bottle as well as a really nice sticker, free of charge. I was really impressed with their customer service. The filter is just as great. They work perfectly and the straw and filter are easily detachable so you can clean them easily but they won't come apart when you are out and about using it. The water at my university tastes a lot like metal but once I began using my water bottle with the filter the metallic taste is no longer there and the water actually tastes good now. The caps that come with the filter also work really good and are better made than the name brand hydro flask sports cap as I have one and these have a rubber cover on the bite valve making it more comfortable to drink water than with the hydro flask cap. Also when drinking water you can barely even tell you are using a filter. In all I am very happy with this product and will continue to purchase the filter replacements once these run out.

Works awesome! Gave this to my daughter to use on her international trips to countries with u reliable safe water. She loves how it fits her favorite wide mouth Nalgene!

I tested this against my lifestraw waterbottle on a trip, using this and my lifestraw waterbottle side by side. and this does not filter nearly as well. I could still taste the less then optimal water when traveling whereas when drinking from the lifestraw bottle it was much better, cleaner, more neutral tasting water.

First, I have tried two other companies that use filters in a bottle to eliminate forever chemicals and such. This product works great with one of my random bottles, but I need to highlight how easy it is to use and the straw system works as it should.Clearly filtered also has a similar system (not sure who started this system1st) but please understand that it does work. You DO have to pull from the straw harder and manipulate the mouthpiece to create a good seal in your mouth so no air accompanies your water. The air getting into your mouth happens a lot if you don’t do what I mentioned.LARQ is also another company I tried and while it’s better than this system in a few ways, LARQ has some weaknesses you can consider. The LARQ has technology that beats both of these. However, it’s more expensive and you have to charge the top mount piece. There is also no cover for the USB-C charging area. If water to get in the charging socket, would it last?Anywho, I am running with this company to filter my water bottles. It’s reasonably priced and so far is doing what it says the product should do.

So I am one of those people who notices how all diff waters taste and even though my home water is run through a filter it still tastes awful to me, since getting this a couple weeks ago the water now tastes great! So much so my two year old is constantly stealing my water bottle! It fit perfectly on my existing bottle and sizing was according to the chart. They provided all different straw lengths so it will work even if I switch bottles. I haven’t experienced any leaking. I was wary of the price at first but it works!
